Thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce you and your daughters to our community. Sweety High’s primary goal is to provide your daughters with a safe, creative introduction to modern digital media in a controlled, filtered environment.
Sweety High is a social world for girls, a boutique arts and entertainment website driven by social networking, gaming, and original content for girls 9 and up. Our mission, from conception, has been to provide girls with an extremely engaging, age-appropriate site while giving parents the transparency and editing controls they need to help guide the process. Tween girls today are more savvy about technology and the Internet than any generation to date. They want to emulate what older girls around them are doing on-line but need a private environment to pursue these aspirations. To this end, Sweety High aims to promote safety, leadership, creativity and fair play while also fostering a girl’s engagement with the real world.
Created with our core community of Foundation Girls in Southern California, SH was born from the girls primary interest to network and share their creativity with friends.
Sweety High is a different kind of site in that it represents the most advanced social software these girls have ever been given access to. In terms of quality of the user experience, everything from designing yearbooks and joining fanclubs to watching original webseries and competing for prizes on their Sweety Meter, it is in a class of its own.
We have also created educational programs like the Savvy Sweeties to promote leadership, safety, and community participation in the real world. The girls want to have fun, but they also need to be educated about the very real dangers online...so they can help become their own best defense.

- Sweety High is a closed community. If you are not a member, you cannot access or view profiles, photos or any user content.
- We verify each member under 13 through a parent or guardian’s credit card/last 4 digits of social security Number/signature page. These are the most effective ways to keep Sweety High private and ensure our user's age verification.
- All non-user generated content, including videos and music, is hand-picked, pre-moderated and filtered.
- All user generated content, including all text, will be moderated in conjunction with a state-of-the-art moderation system. These proprietary tools go to great length to help police against cyber-bullying and predatorial behavior.
- Parents of girls under 13 are given an account to access their daughter’s profiles and the ability to "delete" any content they feel is inappropriate. They will also receive emails updating them on their child's recent activity. This complete transparency will give you the access you need while hopefully prompting meaningful discourse with your child.
- Sweety High is a member of privo's
privacy assurance program. Privo is recognized by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), and is approved as a safe harbor under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

- Sweety High has implemented the strictest Privacy Policy, and gone to great lengths to ensure that we are COPPA compliant.

Sweety High wants you to be a part of your daughter’s online education, so please feel free to watch and read our safety materials and encourage your child to become a Savvy Sweety!
Here are a few simple suggestions that may be helpful:
- As your child’s biggest advocate, staying up-to-date with what is going on in their lives is probably the best way to help ensure that we all work together to give girls the guidance they need.
- Discuss with them how import it is to keep vital personal information private.
- Tell them about the dangers of talking to strangers on the Internet.
- Explain why posting pictures needs to be carefully considered.
- Use our proprietary viewing and editing tools to keep abreast of your daughter’s activities on Sweety High.
- Assure them that being bullied, or bullying someone else, is as unacceptable online as it is in real life.
- If your tween/teen tells you about something upsetting: Stay calm, report the incident if warranted, and help them to work through the issue. Remember, you want to keep the lines of communication open.
- Help activate your daughter’s account by signing up with them or clicking on the link we send you.
- Be sure to check this page and our safety page for frequent updates.
