Everyone Obsessed With Glitter Needs Unicorn Snot’s Holographic Lip Kit

The beauty brand is known for their sparkly gels and lip glosses that'll turn you into a disco ball in no time.
They've recently added a brand new product to their ever-growing roster that really piqued my interest, a Holographic Lip Glitter Kit. The company was even so kind as to send one to review.
When I first received it, I was stoked to test it out, but even more excited when the box noted it was vegan and cruelty-free.
Each kit contains a clear primer, applicator wand and three jars of loose glitter in teal, pink and yellow.

While I love me some glitter, I am no beauty expert. I am very much a makeup novice, so the three-step application process made me feel at ease when it was time to glamify my lips. And it really was that easy.
As I was wearing a yellow tee, I figured it'd be best to test out the yellow glitter first.
I smeared my lips with the primer (which tasted subtly of a delicious vanilla cupcake, btw) and used the applicator brush to add a healthy dose of glitter. I quickly learned that a little bit of glitter goes a long way. My lips looked brighter than the sun (and my future, jk), but it was too much for me to handle.
(My lips are so bright, you need to wear shades.)
I washed it off with some soap and water, and then tried again with the teal glitter. This time, I made sure to use less sparkles.
I was thoroughly pleased with the outcome the second go around. It was just enough to make me stand out, but not enough to blind the entire population with its glare.

Unfortunately, it didn't stay on my lips for very long. Once I decided to chug a can of Red Bull late in the afternoon (who needs sleep?), my glittery pout returned to normal. I imagine this is how Cinderella felt when the clock struck midnight.

This lip product isn't meant for long-day wear, but it's the perfect accessory for a night out with your besties. It'll add so much more to your overall look of the evening.
One of my favorite things about this kit is how much glitter you get. Each container looks small, but it's jam-packed with sparkles. This bad boy is sure to last for years and years to come.
