Liam the Pool Cleaner and 7 Other 1D Odd Jobs

One Direction's Liam Payne joked in a recent interview that he might be moonlighting as a pool cleaner, which got us thinking about the what other jobs the boys might consider if this whole 1D thing doesn't pan out. We've got a few recommendations!

We know it's a joke, but we would hire Liam as our pool boy without any hesitation.

• Firefighter

In the past, Liam has hinted that being a firefighter would be his non-1D dream job. So heroic!

Harry Styles

• Barber

Obviously, Harry Styles is destined from birth to be a hair stylist. How else could you explain that name?

• Baker

Before joining One Direction, Harry worked in a local bakery. We're sure everything he baked would be both adorable and delectable.

Louis Tomlinson

• Soccer player

Louis nearly bought a soccer team called the Doncaster Rovers last year, and he's played for them in charity events in the past. Clearly, he's cut out to be a footballer!

• Toys "R" Us Clerk

Louis Tomlinson worked at a Toys "R" Us in the days before 1D, and once you're in you never stop being a Toys "R" Us kid.

Niall Horan

• Nando's chef

Since Niall's obsessed with the chicken chain Nandos, he'd fit right in as their head chef.

Golfer

No Photoshop needed here! Niall has been spotted playing a lot of golf lately… Maybe it's something he's considering as a second career!
