2014 MTV Video Music Awards Celebrate Music!
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards were held at the Forum in Inglewood, California over the weekend, featuring unmissable performances and honoring some of top music stars today!
The show kicked off with Ariana Grande's spacey first-ever live performance of her hit single "Break Free," and continued with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj joining Ariana on stage to perform their collaborative "Bang Bang."
Later on in the night, Ariana took home the award for Best Pop Video for "Problem," featuring Iggy Azalea!
Performances continued when Taylor Swift performed her new single "Shake It Off" live for the first time, and Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora took the stage to sing "Black Widow." Maroon 5, Sam Smith and Usher were also part of the show's festivities.
Fifth Harmony stunned audiences and delighted Harmonizers when they took home the Moonman for Artist to Watch, Presented By Taco Bell thanks to their debut track "Miss Movin' On."
Other winners included Lorde's "Royals" for Best Rock Video and Ed Sheeran and Pharrell Williams' "Sing" for Best Male Video. Beyoncé also accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award!
