These Are the Hair Trends to Keep on Your Radar in 2018

New year, new 'do!

We've been hard at work studying celebrity hairstylists, and we've rounded up the biggest trends we can expect (and you can recreate) in 2018. See what they are below.

The Chop Chop

Blunt bobs have been around since 2017, but 2018 will be the year they start blowing up both your Instagram feed and red carpets. Celebrity stylist Justine Marjan rang in the new year by giving Dove Cameron's legendary locks a wild makeover. The result? The cutest blunt bob you've ever seen! You can definitely expect more celebs to follow suit and recreate this new 'do in 2018.

Botticelli Curls

Ask your mom about Botticelli curls and she will 100% remember their heyday in the '80s and '90s. This style involves giving hair tight curls and a messy texture. Celeb stylist Justine Marjan was at it again when she styled Khloé Kardashian at the top of 2018 with this unique hairdo. Celebrity magazines immediately took note and labeled this the look to watch out for this year.

Ice Ice Baby

Even if you haven't heard of Tokyo Stylez, you've certainly seen his work on celebrity clients, including Kylie Jenner and Rihanna. The inventive stylist and wigmaker took to Instagram to showcase one of his 2018 gems. This one-of-a-kind style is sure to make a splash all year long: ice colored hair. The beauty of this trend is that any skin tone can wear the color. Affordable brands are now making wigs, too, in case such a drastic change is not an option for your natural hair.

The Messy 'Do

We couldn't have been happier when we saw stylist Laura Polko debut this "just rolled out of bed" 'do for Gigi Hadid. The trick to recreating these messy styles is to not be shy with texturizing products or dry shampoo. There's no right or wrong way for this style to be worn, and we expect a lot of messy low buns and ponytails in our hair future!

The Sleek Part

There is nothing more glamorous than a sleek part and a gown. When thinking about prom and other dances this year, don't be afraid to go the sleek part route. This easy-to-recreate look is timeless and won't embarrass you 10 years from now when your parents pull out your old high school pics.
