2024's Billboard Women in Music Awards will be here in less than a month, and we're already counting down the days until we can commemorate all of music's biggest stars.

The Billboard Women in Music Awards

The Billboard Women in Music Awards is a yearly event recognizing the most powerful women in music. That includes everyone from from up-and-coming artists to the biggest female singer-songwriters, creative and execs in the industry, all on one big stage.

 

This Year's Show

2024's Billboard Women in Music Awards will be taking place Wednesday, March 6 at the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles, California, and hosted by award-winning actress Tracee Ellis Ross.

In addition to awarding incredible women in their musical fields, the show will also feature show-stopping musical performances. Expect to see Charli XCX, Luísa Sonza, Maren Morris, NewJeans, TEMS, Victoria Monét and Young Miko take the stage on the big night to showcase their incredible talents.

The Woman of the Year Award

The Billboard Women in Music Awards have also announced their Woman of the Year Award recipient for 2024: Grammy-winning Latin music sensation Karol G. Karol will be joining an incredible list of honorees, including SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. In addition to being celebrated with the award, the Colombian star will also be performing at the event.

"With her immense talent, Karol G has created a movement for women across the globe due to her empowering lyrics and shameless confidence," shared Hannah Karp, Billboard's editorial director, in a press release. "The release of her groundbreaking album Mañana Será Bonito has proven her a force to be reckoned with in both the English and Spanish charts. We are so excited to honor her as Woman of the Year."

Tickets can be purchased now at the Billboard Women in Music website, with prices starting at $89. If you can't be in L.A. to attend in person on the big night, you'll also be able to watch the show on their website on Thursday, March 7 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.
