7 Classic Shows That Need A Reboot RIGHT NOW
All of our favorite classics are coming back! From the Full House reboot Fuller House to the brand new Muppets series, remakes of vintage shows are in. And the networks shouldn't stop there. Here are 7 shows that need a reboot RIGHT NOW.
1. Sabrina the Teenage Witch
In the reboot, Melissa Joan Hart could return as Sabrina, now a mom. In the time since we saw them last, Sabrina has married her boyfriend Harvey, and now their preteen daughter has to figure out what being a young witch is all about. Obviously, her best friend is Salem the talking black cat.
2. Sister, Sister
Twins Tia and Tamera were separated at adopted at birth, but reunited as teenagers. In the reboot, Tia and Tamera are career women on opposite sides of the world. They each have their own sets of twin daughters, but Tia's and Tamera's daughters have never met– until a family tragedy brings everyone back together, and the kids have to learn to live together as one big happy family.
3. Even Stevens
We are desperate to see what Louis, Ren and Donnie are like as adults. Need we say more?
4. Kenan & Kel
Who wouldn't want to see Kenan and Kel's antics as adults? The story would likely focus around the successful Kenan, with his best friend Kel around to derail all of his plans. With a few kids in tow, their misadventures could be crazier than ever. And of course, orange soda everywhere.
5. Clarissa Explains It All
If our predictions come true, Melissa Joan Hart will be one busy gal! In the reboot, Clarissa will continue to speak directly to the audience to describe what's going on in her life as she figures out what it means to be the mom of a teenage girl. We'll also get to hear straight from her daughter's mouth to get a different side of the story!
6. Doug
Cartoons deserve reboots, too! The new show would bring Doug into the 21st century as we follow the life of Doug and Patti Mayonnaise's daughter in junior high. There she deals with her crush on her best friend, Skeeter's son, and tries to figure out what to do about her bully, Roger's daughter. We'd also love to see the return of Doug's alter egos in the form of Quailgirl.
7. Lizzie McGuire
In a Lizzie McGuire reboot, it would be amazing to see where Lizzie, Gordo and Miranda are after all of these years. Obviously they'd still be BFFs. Maybe Hillary Duff's son, Luca, could even make an appearance! But most importantly, we want to see the animated Lizzy all grown up and ready to dish out some truth.
