The Turn-of-the-Century Fashion Trends We Plan on Wearing This Spring

The late '90s and early '00s were the time dedicated to Juicy Couture sweatsuits, low-cut jeans, rhinestones and more.

And while some of the trends were something we'd be happy to never go back to, there are quite a few that are actually coming back in style. After all, fashion recycles, so it should come as no surprise that the 2000s are making a comeback! We definitely plan on rocking some styles (in a new and improved way, of course,) and you should, too! Keep reading to find out all about the turn-of-the-century fashion trends we plan on wearing this spring.

Wide Leg Pants

If there's one thing everyone knew how to rock in the late '90s and early '00s, it was flare jeans. Wide leg pants were such a staple of the time, and we're more than happy to welcome it back. Skinny jeans had their moment in time, but we're back to loving this recycled style! We're especially into this pair from Revice featuring a cute star on the bum.

Rhinestones

Rhinestones are making a comeback, baby! Whether it's bedazzled on your top, on a belt or a fun hair accessory, rhinestones are going to be a mega-hit this spring. We're obsessed with this trend because it really pulls an outfit together. We plan on adding these cute Elizabeth Cole star clips to our shopping carts!

Bandage Tops

Corsets and bandage tops were all the rage in Y2K, and we just love that it's coming back into style! It's tight-fitted and shows off all your curves, which is always a plus in our book. For this trend, we love the idea of sticking with bright colors, like this Barbie-pink one from Shelter LA!

Velour Sweatsuits

Velour was a staple that every girl had—in fact, they probably hoarded multiple sweatsuit sets! Think Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie—that's the vibe we're trying to attain here. rue21 offers some great options when it comes to velour, and we are definitely keeping our eyes on this hot pink set!

Tiny Purses

You've seen Bella Hadid and all your fave celebs rocking the tiny purse trend, and if you don't already have one—girl, get on it! Baguette-style purses were prominent during this era, and this has to be one of the best comeback styles we've seen in a while! Nasty Gal has some super affordable options, and we're totally digging this style from WANT.

Cropped Baby Tees

We're total suckers for crop tops, but you know what really gets our juices flowing? Cropped baby tees! Mini, tight-fitting tees that are also crops are something that was worn by pretty much everyone during that period. Now that it's back and better than ever, we can't wait to rock the style all the time. Just look at how adorable this one is from Jagger & Stone! Obsessed.
