A Definitive Ranking of Fast Food Tacos
Oddly enough, fast food tacos are some of the most variable menu items. You go to Taco Bell and Chipotle, and it'll have two polar opposites vibes. That said, most people probably have very variable opinions about the different restaurants, including us!
Ahead, discover our definitive ranking of the most popular taco-centered franchises.
6. Jack in the Box
First off, there is no fast food taco we don't like. While Jack in the Box ranks at the bottom of our list, it's still a solid taco. However, if you've ever had the chance to visit one of the restaurants, you'll know they have an expansive menu, and their tacos are not one of the standouts. They're a little bland, and the taste matches its price point. We'd only order it if we had planned to go to the restaurant.
5. Qdoba
If you asked us to create this ranking one decade ago, Qdoba would be at the top of our list. However, we've expanded our palates, and this restaurant has dwindled in quality over the years. During our most recent visits, they never fill our taco up. Why are we ordering so many ingredients, and it still looks empty?
4. Chipotle
Ah, Chipotle. We are lucky to have a store that often has fresh ingredients and doesn't skimp on loading your food. That said, the tacos are not Chipotle's specialty. Considering how much we love their bowls and burritos, it's nearly impossible to want to order a taco. Their taco shells need improvements (they lack flavor and taste stale), but the filling makes it tasty.

3. Moe's Southwest Grill
Moe's Southwest Grill has the options of a bowl, quesadilla, burrito and more. But it's one of the only quick Mexican spots we'd want to order a taco at. They have a very fluffy, soft taco shell and season the ingredients to perfection. You won't be disappointed if you try it.
2. Del Taco
Okay, this may ruffle some opinions. Our last two are probably the least authentic on this list. But they're in a league of their own. The crunch of the shell is unbelievably satisfying, and the meat tastes like a homemade taco. It's the ultimate one for when you want, in simplest terms, American tacos.
1. Taco Bell
Taco Bell is iconic. A classic, if you will. They are the most consistent with their tacos, and there's truly nothing more satisfying on a late night. These days, you can switch up your taco to be more flavor. Add a soft and crunchy taco shell. Or, get the Dorito's taco shell for flair.
