Krysten Ritter Cast As Title Hero In A.K.A. Jessica Jones!

Krysten Ritter has been cast as the title character in A.K.A. Jessica Jones, an upcoming Netflix series from Marvel!

A.K.A. Jessica Jones will follow the story of Jessica Jones, a former superhero who loses her superhuman abilities after a traumatic incident. She decides to create a detective agency in New York City to help others in need, including her fellow heroes.

The show will be one of four original Marvel series coming to Netflix in the coming years, and notably is the first series in a long while to focus on a female superhero. It should on Netflix sometime next year!

The first season will consist of 13 hour-long episodes. Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote the screenplays for all five Twilight films, will serve as show runner.
