Alyson Stoner Is Ready For You To See “Summer Forever”!
Alyson Stoner is a triple threat if there ever was one! And she finally got to combine her singing, dancing and acting skills in her latest movie Summer Forever. We talked with Alyson all about what she loved most about making the film, her charity work with iPourLife and plenty more.

How excited are you for fans to finally see Summer Forever? How do you hope they will react to the film?
I am so excited! The cast and I are actually having a countdown party for the film. I've seen a rough cut, but we won't get to see the full film until everyone finally gets to see it. I hope the fans really love the film. I want them to feel like they are uplifted and want to experience life. It's a story about three girls who are going through life and it's something we've all been through. I hope they relate to the characters and their stories and see this movie and feel like they can be themselves a little more and will know how to deal with certain situations better.
Do you have a favorite scene you filmed in the movie?
The one I did for "Powerless". It was my first solo performance with both music and dancing together. It was also a very emotional moment for my character, because it is the last time she is going to dance. She is giving up what she loves, which is something that is really difficult to deal with. There were definitely a ton of tears during that scene. It was all method acting.
Are there any behind the scenes secrets you can share?
Me and the director and the girls [Megan Nicole and Anna Grace Barlow] were always playing pranks on Ryan [McCartan] to get him to mess up. We would change scenes beforehand so he wouldn't know the lines and we would act like it was just a normal scene. Or we would try to get him to mess up while he was filming by just goofing off. Any pranks we played on the guys were really hilarious!
You're focusing on your music now, how is that going? When can fans expect to hear new music from you?
It's going great! I actually just listened to my next single right before this and I'm so excited for everyone to hear it. Hopefully it will be released in the fall with a video as well, so look out for that.
Can you tell us a little bit about your work with iPourLife and what it means to you to be a part of it?
The motto is to lift a hand up, not out. We help women in Ethiopia become consistent forces of good. It's amazing to watch their dreams and dignity be restored, so they can become their full human selves again. I'm heading to Ethiopia for the second time in three weeks. It's going to be so much fun. We're doing some practical repair for the homes, but also doing our arts program and some women's empowerment classes. We're also teaching them about finances, health care and different trades for the women who are starting their own businesses. It's pretty prolific, but it's incredible!

Probably Belle because she's the bookworm.

Can I be cheesy and say I just really appreciate all the experiences we go through as humans? I don't mind not having any super powers.
If you could live in a movie, which one would it be?
I'd live in Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video.
What language would you love to learn?
Amharic in Ethiopia
What's one thing that never fails to make you smile?
Oh, little babies! Everyone I know says I have baby fever really badly.
What's the number one thing on your bucket list?
To sell out a stadium as the headliner! Dream big, right?
