These days, Alyssa McKay is recognized as both a viral digital creator and the entrepreneurial designer behind her own streetwear brand, Beyond Lost. Based on her success, you'd never guess she's the ultimate underdog story.

The 24-year-old creative grew up in and out of foster homes before eventually finding her calling in content creation, building up her digital empire to where it is today, with a whopping billion views across her channels every month. Of course, her talents extend beyond her online presence, and she's also the co-founder and creative director of streetwear brand Beyond Lost NYC, known for its high-quality, hand-sewn pieces with drops that sell out within hours. "It really helps me feel connected to my body! Another thing I love is horseback riding. It has completely changed my life!"

"It sounds a little morbid, but I have a small gold urn necklace with my grandpa's ashes. He was always my biggest supporter and whenever I embark on new adventures, I take the necklace with me and wear it. It helps me feel safe and supported!"

"Growing up in foster care and all of the experiences I had during that period of time really solidified a lot of my core values. I am incredibly loyal to the people I love. I love very hard, and I am a ride-or-die for the people in my circle."
