House DJ, producer and singer Amal Nemer may not have the most traditional musical background, but that's precisely what makes her stand out.
The artist, now based out of Miami, was born in Venezuela of Lebanese heritage. She grew up as the youngest sister in an Arabic family with four older brothers, so she was quite sheltered—which eventually led to a rebellious streak. Spending most of her time at home meant she found her voice through computers and tech, leading her to the world of music production and even learning English through the music she loved. Though she trained as an architect, her true passion was in music, leading her to quickly become one of the fastest-growing and most prolific artists in the Miami dance music scene.
