The Aries Personality Types You’ll Encounter in Life
If you've been feeling more energized, optimistic and motivated since the beginning of spring, that might be because of the warm sunshine and fair weather—or it might be that you're feeling the impact of Aries season.
According to astrology, the period lasts from March 21 to April 19, marking a period of excitement, ambition and, of course, Aries birthdays. While we do tend to stereotype the sign a bit, it's also important to remember that no two Aries are exactly alike, and in fact, we've met Aries with other astrological placements that make them the total opposite of the typical areas. Still, there are a few Aries archetypes we tend to see again and again. Below are five of the types you're most likely to encounter.
The Go-Getter
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and we like to joke that they got this position by refusing to wait their turn. Aries are fiery, energetic and highly motivated, and when they put their minds to something, they do it—and they don't waste any time getting started. Despite not being great planners, they're highly goal-oriented, with the ability to channel all of their energy into achieving a specific dream. Outside forces and other people's opinions simply aren't going to get in their way, and this can lead to Aries being highly successful.
At the same time, Aries can be their own biggest obstacles. They get bored very easily, and are often guilty of dropping their current dream to move on to the next one without a moment's notice. Of course, they'll tackle it with just as much ferocity and passion. Maybe this time, they'll be able to make it stick.

The Athlete
Aries also have a reputation for being the most active sign of the zodiac, and many are naturally drawn to athletic endeavors. They can become highly restless if they're forced to sit still and do nothing for do long, and channeling their energy into physical activity, becoming stronger and more skilled over time, is one of their favorite ways to let off some steam.
Because they hate losing, they can also be incredibly competitive. They don't just have the drive to beat their current opponent, but to go home and train in order to become more capable than future opponents as well. Even if they don't play sports professionally, they love going to the gym, joining in on games or even running from place to place, because that's how they keep their bodies and minds balanced.
The Star
Many Aries have a natural appeal, with a confidence and charisma that draws others to them without trying. Not only do they become popular, but they become the leaders of their cliques, and sometimes even stars. Celebrities come in all shapes and forms, so whether they're performers, artists or creators of some kind, they can captivate people with their work and enthrall them further with the personality behind it.
Extroverted Aries also tend to love the spotlight, and as they can be somewhat self-centered, they enjoy it when things seem to revolve around them. Their competitive nature can also come out here, and because Aries like to be in control, but don't necessarily want the responsibility of leadership, stardom puts them in a uniquely desirable position.

The Daredevil
Aries are also known for their courage and fearlessness. They combat boredom by seeking adventure, whether that's a simple road trip to a new place or getting their adrenaline pumping via thrill-seeking activities. They're super stubborn, so when someone tells them they can't do something or aren't brave enough, that only makes them want to do it even more. They laugh in the face of danger and are always willing to push themselves harder and further in search of their next rush. Now, whether this behavior makes them a hero or a troublemaker is entirely up to them.
The Wanderer
Aries' restlessness can be more than just physical. Yes, they want to get moving, but they also want to broaden their intellectual horizons and be mentally stimulated. This can make them wanderers. If they don't gravitate toward a career that frequently has them on the road, they make take frequent and far-flung vacations instead. Because they thrive on novelty, their minds, bodies and spirits are properly exercised by traveling to new and unusual places. They can discover new sites, eat interesting food and explore to their hearts' content, and even better, they don't have to commit to any one place for too long. Once they're bored, they can simply move on to the next place.
