Ashlee Keating Dishes on Her Holiday Single ‘In the Air’ and 2023’s LovePup Family Fest
Pop sensation Ashlee Keating is perhaps best known for her playful summer hit "SAUCY," and she's gotten us fully into the holiday spirit with her newest single, "In the Air," in celebration of her favorite time of the year.
Ashlee is beloved for her upbeat attitude and uplifting music, as well as her philanthropic work, and on Nov. 3, she performed at the 104.7 KIISFM LovePup Family Fest in Mesa, Arizona. Alongside other acts including Max, The Band Camino and Andi, she took the stage in the name of helping sweet dogs find their forever homes. We got the chance to catch up with Ashlee to chat new music and the important show, and she shared it all with us in the interview below.
Sweety High: What did it mean to you to perform at LovePup Family Fest 2023? Is LovePup an organization that's close to your heart?
Ashlee Keating: It was such an honor and so amazing to be able to perform at LovePup Family Fest this year! I had the best time and loved meeting new fans. There was an amazing lineup of performers and I was so honored and grateful to be performing as well for such an amazing cause.
Yes, LovePup is definitely an organization that's near and dear to my heart since I have a dog myself. I love puppies and it means a lot to me for each pup to find the right family and home. I would love to work with the organization more!

SH: What songs did you perform at the show?
AK: I performed an acoustic set with my pink acoustic guitar. It was so much fun! I played my single "SAUCY," "Unconditionally" by Katy Perry, "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift" and my newest holiday single that came out on Nov. 3, 2023, called "In the Air"!

SH: What was the energy like at the show?
AK: The crowd was great! They were fully invested in my performance. I brought KoKo, my Pomeranian dog, onstage with me! I loved how the audience was so interactive and singing and dancing along with me. That's my favorite! I got to meet some new fans and take pictures! It was so awesome.

SH: What was your favorite memory from the performance?
AK: Meeting some new #keators after my performance! They're a growing family of supporters and mean the world to me. I always love meeting you babes and taking pictures. It's the best! I wouldn't be here without them.
