Everything You Wanted to Know About the Members of J-Pop Girl Group ATARASHII GAKKO!
Since making their initial debut in January 2021 with the viral song "NAINAINAI," Japanese quartet ATARASHII GAKKO! have made quite a name for themselves, and they show no signs of slowing down.
ATARASHII GAKKO! translates to "new school" in Japanese, and they've taken the concept far, redefining what it means to be a girl group with their edgy, unique sound that celebrates individuality, and contrasting their old-school, sailor-style school uniforms. They are anything but ordinary and the opposite of boring, bringing vibrant energy to every musical syllable and bold dance move, and enchanting audiences far beyond their native Japan. The group is currently touring North America for the very first time before heading to Mexico, Hong Kong and Thailand before the end of the year, and in the middle of it all, we got the chance to speak with the four members.
