What to Do for an Autumn Girls’ Night In

No matter what type of activities you like, every girl likes a night with their best friends.

With the weather getting chillier outside, it's the perfect time of year to bundle up, stay inside and really get to know your besties on another level. Don't have any ideas? Text your girlfriends and plan a perfect autumn girls' night in with the activities on this list.

1. Return to Halloween

Although Halloween is over, that doesn't mean you can't still celebrate it. Watching a classic Halloween movie or decorating pumpkins are both fun ways to hang with the girls. Together, you can either carve or paint pumpkins. We love paint, as it's easier and is way less of a mess. However, if you love pumpkin seeds, then definitely carve so you can bake and snack on them as you work. Also while you're carving or painting, don't be afraid to put on Disney+. They have the best Halloween movies.

2. Re-Watch Holiday Episodes of Your Favorite Shows

If your favorite TV series have holiday episodes, marathoning them is a perfect way to get into the seasonal spirit. If you and your friends can't find a movie you all agree on, watching different episodes of various shows can be a great compromise with a little something for everyone. Re-watch the Halloween or Thanksgiving episodes of Pretty Little Liars, New Girl, Gossip Girl and so many other favorites to really create a mood.

3. Crafting

Autumn and crafting seem to go hand-in-hand. For fun holiday crafts, search on Pinterest for countless inspiration. Crafting is something that keeps the whole crew busy, and it's fun to see everyone's finished projects. Even better, everyone can do their own thing, or show off their individuality in their own crafts.

4. Host a Friendsgiving

Just because it's December doesn't mean it's too late to host a Friendsgiving. It's a great excuse to get the girls together and flaunt your cooking and baking skills. Personally, we love a potluck-style Friendsgiving where you can taste a little bit of everyone's autumn favorites and cultural foods. After all, food will always make the girls happy.

5. Cook or Bake a Fall Recipe

What's a great way to create memories with your best friends? Baking or cooking together, obviously. After all, food is the way to a person's heart. Autumn is the perfect season for getting in the kitchen. There are just so many different snacks, desserts and appetizers to create with a bit of seasonal flair, so get in the kitchen and try a new fall recipe with your friends.

6. Game Night

Most of a girls' night is filled with great conversations and movie watching., but we can't forget the best part. A classic girls' night has to involve games in some way. Whether Monopoly, Sorry!, Codenames or Clue, you'll surely have a good time—and if you're snacking while playing, it's an even better night.

7. Spa Night

Who doesn't love a good night of pampering? After the fun activities planned for the night, try a DIY face mask. Or, if you don't feel like making your own, everyone can sheet bring masks they already have at home and everyone can try something new. If that's not exactly your speed, everyone can give each other manicures, with your favorite scented candle lit.
