A Definitive Ranking of All the Bachelor Nation Couples Who Are Still Together
The Bachelor first premiered in 2002—aka a long time ago.
Over the past 17 years, the franchise has expanded to basically dominate our lives. Nine months out of the year, we're glued to our TV screens, wondering what our favorite characters will pull next.
But you know what Bachelor Nation isn't known for? Lasting relationships. In fact, in 17 years of love-matching, Bachelor Nation only has a few solid relationships to its name. And some of those couples elicit less of a heart-eyes reaction and more of a dissatisfied moan.
If you want to know which couples are going strong and actually worth caring about, keep scrolling for our definitive ranking of all the Bachelor Nation couples who are still together.
22. Tayshia Adams and John Paul Jones
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 6
The latest season of Bachelor in Paradise added a few new couples to the Bachelor Nation mix. While their relationships are still in the infant stages and we certainly don't expect all of them to stay together, we'll still add them to this list.
First up—we have Tayshia and JPJ. Honestly, we could sum up this relationship in two words: not impressed. The chemistry between these two always looked uncomfortable and forced. We don't really get the appeal. Plus, we've heard they're actually on the rocks, anyway. They'll probably break up and we honestly won't care—we could never get on board with this strange match.
21. JP Rosenbaum and Ashley Herbert
Appearance: The Bachelorette Season 7
JP and Ashley were an early Bachelor Nation couple in comparison to some of the other names on this list. If we're being totally honest, they were before our time, at least when it came to our Bachelor Nation addiction. They seem totally fine and normal—they're just happily out of the spotlight. We're thrilled for them and their average lifestyles, but we never became attached enough to really care about what's going on in their world.
20. Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney
Appearance: The Bachelor Season 13
Molly and Jason are another early days Bachelor couple. Their season was particularly controversial because Jason was the original Arie—he dumped his first choice Melissa Rycroft to be with Molly. However, his decision panned out—the pair have been married for nine years. Much like JP and Ashley, they seem super great, but we just don't care that much about them.
19. Chris Siegfried and Desiree Hartstock
Appearance: The Bachelorette Season 9
Ah, Des and Chris—so sweet, so normal, so boring. Seriously, after Desiree's season of The Bachelorette, this couple basically just went back to living their normal, spotlight-free lives. We've hardly heard a peep from them since. They have two children together and they seem painfully average. We like them. That is, when we bother to remember that they exist.
18. Katie Morton and Chris Bukowski
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 6
Katie and Chris are another result of this latest season of Bachelor in Paradise. Unfortunately, we're not so sure their engagement is meant to last. The couple always appeared hot and cold on their season and they struggled to really commit to each other. That lasted all the way until the last day, but for some reason, the pair got engaged anyway. During the reunion episode, the duo was definitely on rocky ground. Although both have claimed that things improved immensely since then, we're not sure this a couple worth rooting for.
17. Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 2
Ugh, we'd be so happy to never hear about Jared and Ashley again. Their love story was cute-ish for like, one second. We still believe Ashley simply wore Jared down after years of begging him to love her. That in itself was exhausting, but since the couple has officially been together, they've been downright insufferable. They're irritatingly open with their relationship, usually using their love story to promote products on Instagram. Honestly? We were over it before it even began. But good for them for getting married.
16. Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 5
Krystal and Chris were both considered the villains on their respective seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. It seems there really is someone for everyone, as these two weirdos found each other in Paradise and have been together ever since. We wouldn't mind them if it weren't for their annoying nicknames for each other. "Glitter" and "The Goose"? Why would you want to call your fiancé/husband by such cringeworthy pet names?
15. Arie Luyendyk and Lauren Burnham
Appearance: The Bachelor Season 22
As mentioned above, Arie was deeply despised on his season of The Bachelor for much the same reason as Jason Mesnick—he chose Becca Kufrin, and then dumped her at the reunion in favor of runner-up Lauren Burnham. With that kind of start, it's understandable that it took us a while to get on board with Arie and Lauren's relationship. However, they're slowly gaining a bit of affection in our hearts. They seem happy and in love, especially since the arrival of their new baby. Once you add a baby into the mix it's hard to truly despise a couple. However, we're not totally sold on them, either.
14. Becca Kufrin and Garret Yrigoyen
Appearance: The Bachelorette Season 14
Until the very end of her season, Becca's relationship with Garret was a little "meh." Garret faced some controversy at the beginning that made it difficult to get on board with his withdrawn personality. However, the pair seems to truly love each other. They're still going strong over a year later, and have even moved into their own place together. We're still a little lukewarm about their partnership, but even we have to admit—they look pretty cute together.
13. Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 1
Jade and Tanner are another success story from Bachelor in Paradise. In fact, they're the first success story from the spinoff series. They were sweet together during their season, but what really makes this couple cute is their two adorable children. Jade and Tanner are all fine and good, but their kids are cute as can be. The little family unit these Bachelor stars have created melts our hearts, so we have to support them.
12. Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter
Appearance: The Bachelorette Season 1
Trista was the very first Bachelorette. She chose Ryan at the end of her season, and the pair have been together ever since. For that reason alone, we have to give them some major props and a higher ranking on this list. Trista was the first person who proved that relationships from this franchise can actually work. We don't know much about Trista and Ryan, but they seem very happy and totally in love. That's all we could ask for from a Bachelor Nation couple.
11. Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 6
After some initial drama at the beginning of the season, Hannah and Dylan were pretty strong for the remainder of the most recent season of Bachelor in Paradise. They're pretty vanilla and way too touchy-feely, but there's a certain innocent sweetness to their relationship. What's more, they actually seem committed to making it work. They're cute little lovebirds who seem genuinely happy together—we can't rag on that too much.
10. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo
Appearance: The Bachelorette Season 13
When Rachel originally chose Bryan at the end of her season, we were horrified. And truthfully, we still have yet to see Bryan's full appeal. That said, the couple seem incredibly happy together. They've supported each other for years and only ever have positive things to say about one another. Plus, they tied the knot just a few short weeks ago, officially establishing that they're in it for the long haul. Much to our surprise, they've grown on us. We still imagine her with Peter, but it's obvious Rachel knew what she was doing when she ended that relationship.
9. Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 4
Raven always grated on us a bit during her appearances on Bachelor shows. However, since she found Adam, we found that she's much more tolerable. To hear this pair talk about each other simply melts our heart—they are so obviously in love and incredibly happy. They're open with their relationship, but they're not annoying about it—a fact many other Bachelor couples have yet to get the hang of. Plus, they've taken their time and developed a really great partnership. They only recently got engaged and they seem right on track to build a lifelong romance.
8. Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 5
Since the very beginning of their relationship, Kevin and Astrid simply seemed stable. In fact, they pretty much faded into the background during their Bachelor in Paradise season because their relationship was so solid. They had a little hiccup at the end of their season when they broke-up, but they got back together at the reunion. Since then, their relationship has soared, culminating in an engagement earlier this year. We like them because they seem like they know what they're doing. They're stable, drama-free and committed—exactly what we like to see.
7. Evan Bass and Carly Waddell
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 3
We couldn't stand Evan and Carly the first time they flashed across our screens. Sometimes thinking about it still makes our stomachs turn. However, in the aftermath of their season, we've actually grown to really love them. It's obvious they balance each other out in some kind of strange way. Plus, they're happy enough to have a beautiful baby daughter together, and another child on the way. They're lovable weirdos, and we love rooting for their oddball relationship.
6. Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph
Appearance: The Bachelor Season 23
During Colton's season, we were absolutely convinced that Cassie didn't care for him one bit. Our fears were confirmed when she tried to leave before the final rose ceremony. However, Colton didn't take no for an answer and instead ended the entire show to go after her. It was the kind of grand romantic gesture everyone dreams of, but we still weren't sold.
Since then, we've found that the pair has slowly convinced us the truth of their feelings. They're young and they're not rushing into anything, which is totally out of the box in Bachelor world. We like their bravery, and we like that they're expressive with their feelings in ways that are both goofy and emotional. Honestly, we just like them, and we're rooting for them to make it.
5. Kendall Long and Joe Amabile
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 5
Ugh, quirky Kendall Long landed Grocery Store Joe—what kind of cruel world do we live in? We joke… mostly. Truthfully, we love this pair. Their relationship developed slowly over the course of Bachelor in Paradise, but since then, they've moved at a steady forward pace. They got an apartment together in Los Angeles and seem to be totally happy. We're keeping our fingers crossed they'll continue to stay together because they truly make quite the beautiful pair.
4. Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 6
Controversial choice, but we love Dean and Caelynn. Dean is the most annoying person on the Bachelor franchise. He's cute, but he has the emotional intelligence of a potato. Still, the kid got past a few of his fears this past season on Bachelor in Paradise and ended up returning to the beach to get his girl. Since then, the couple has been spending lots of time together and have made it clear to many that they're totally content in their relationship. They might break up, but we're hoping they don't. What can we say? We're suckers for grand romantic gestures.
3. Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici
Appearance: The Bachelor Season 17
Sean and Catherine will always be one of the best Bachelor couples of all time. For starters, Sean is the only Bachelor in the history of the show who actually married the woman he chose at the end of the show. Aka he showed that men can actually make the right choice sometimes. Second, this cute pair is just so funny. They have two sweet boys and a third baby on the way, and they're not above making fun of their current lives or the way their love story started. We love them, and we always will.
2. Jordan Rogers and JoJo Fletcher
Appearance: The Bachelorette Season 12
JoJo and Jordan are easily an ultimate fave among Bachelor Nation couples. During their season, the show desperately tried to paint Jordan as a villain who was only there for fame, but we just weren't buying it. Thankfully, he proved the haters wrong. The pair have built a life and a career together. They have the best banter and they seem totally in love with one another. In fact, Jordan just re-proposed to JoJo, this time with his own ring. We're pretty sure this pair is going to make it. If they don't, we'll be heartbroken.
1. Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty
Appearance: Bachelor in Paradise Season 6
Could we really put anyone but Demi and Kristian in the top slot of Bachelor Nation couples? This couple is still a new one—they only got engaged on the most recent season. However, they did so much to break down barriers in Bachelor Nation that we will always root for them.
What's more, their relationship was truly different in the realm of Bachelor Nation couples. They were brutally honest with each other and talked about real issues, instead of the shallow discussions that usually dominate the show. Even if they do break up (which we hope they don't), they did so much to bring a sense of genuine reality to the show that their impact will never be forgotten. We love them, we can't say it enough.
