Bad Hair Day To Star Laura Marano!

Laura Marano has been cast in the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie Bad Hair Day, which will air next year!

In the film, Austin & Ally star Laura Marano will play a technically savvy high school students who decides to break out of her comfort zone and contend to be crowned as prom queen!

Things seem to be working in her favor until prom day, when everything suddenly goes wrong. Her hair inexplicably goes absolutely out of control, and her gorgeous prom dress is ruined.

She soon befriends a luckless police officer, played by Leigh-Allyn Baker of Good Luck Charlie fame, who is on a case to find a missing necklace. Unbeknownst to Laura's character, she has the valuable necklace!

As the two come to work together, their bad luck worsens when a jewel thief seeking out the necklace starts chasing them down!

The buddy comedy was written by the team that brought us Zapped and is currently working on Teen Beach Movie 2!

Production for Bad Hair Day started earlier this week in Montreal, Canada. We absolutely can't wait to see this unlikely duo together on the small screen!
