Everything You Need to Know About the New Barbie Ferreira x Havaianas Collab
Earlier this week, the iconic flip-flop brand Havaianas dropped a new collaboration with model and actress Barbie Ferreira, and it truly is a match made in heaven.
You simply have to see the adorable new designs that this team has conjured up together—but first, here's everything you need to know about the epic collab.
The Collab
Havaianas was born in Brazil, and to this day, every pair of flip-flops is designed and made there, which is what makes this team-up with Brazilian American star Barbie Ferreira so perfect. It's their first-ever collab with a celebrity, and the gorgeous results speak for themselves.

Barbie worked with the brand to co-design the collection, creating the ultimate set of comfy, beachy footwear to wear all summer long.

"Havaianas is an iconic brand that I've been wearing since I was in diapers," Barbie shared in a press release. "To me it signifies so much of my culture and my family and Brazil in general. Being Brazilian American has shaped my heart, my art and my fashion endlessly. Getting the chance to design for a company that represents my family, and me, in a nostalgic way is incredibly exciting and I can't wait for everyone to see what we came up with."
For the big launch day on June 13, Barbie and Havaianas also co-hosted a fabulous rooftop soiree at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel in celebration of the collab, with stars including Pia Monse, Rachel Wilson and Genelle Seldon in attendance.

The Lineup
The collaboration includes nine different pieces, including classic Havaianas flip-flops in six eye-catching patterns and three pairs of extra-comfy slides. In designing them, Barbie pulled from vintage styles and color palettes reflecting Brazil's Rio de Janeiro in the '60s and '70s, as well as the country's culture and natural ecosystem.
