These are the Absolute Best Concealers, Period

Let me preface this by saying I am a concealer expert.

I can count the times on one hand that I've worn foundation in the past five years, and rely instead on concealer to keep me looking fresh and flawless. Concealer is my go-to for coverage, mainly under the eyes, around the nose and to spot conceal any blemishes.

Because I use it everyday, I'm constantly oscillating  between new launches and tried-and-true faves. I can say with confidence that I've tried hundreds of concealers as a beauty editor, and I can tell almost instantly if it's going to be a hit. Of course, wearability plays a key factor too which is why I always test concealers for a variety of different occasions: going out, daytime, vacation, and light exercise. Get excited, because I'm sharing my list of the absolute best concealers, period.

RMS Un-Coverup: $36

This is my No. 1 concealer, hands down. I'm obsessed and have at least two in my possession at all times (one that I'm using, one in case the first one gets lost). It's so creamy and sinks into the skin beautifully. Although it's a bit pricey, it lasts a long time and works well on it's own or with foundation. It has a gorgeous dewy effect, but also looks nice when topped with setting powder. All around, it's just a gorgeous formula, and one I'm constantly reaching for.

Glossier Stretch Concealer: $18

Glossier Stretch Concealer is my runner-up next to RMS. They both have similar attributes: being super blendable, sinking into the skin, exhibiting great color variety and medium coverage. This one is definitely more affordable, however the ingredient list isn't quite as clean.

NARS Radiant and Creamy Concealer: $30

Chances are, you ask someone their favorite concealer, and you'll get NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer as a response. It's won all the awards for good reason—with 30 shades and a super creamy finish, this concealer with a doe foot applicator is easy to use and really does conceal. I love this for under eyes for early mornings after late nights, or to cover up a pesky blemish.

KOSAS Revealer Concealer: $28

I'll preface this by saying I'm a Kosas junkie. It's probably the makeup line I'm most excited about right now because the colors are fun, functional and clean. Their newest launch is the Revealer Concealer which aims to celebrate our faces instead of concealing them, as concealer by nature is supposed to do. Surprisingly, Revealer Concealer has medium to full coverage while still allowing skin to peek through.

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer: $27

Food for thought: One of these babies is sold every 12 seconds! That's a lot of concealer—and for good reason. Tarte's Shape Tape Concealer really does work. The formula helps smooth and soften skin while still providing great coverage. It quite literally shapes to the skin!
