These Foundations Will Cover Up All Your Blemishes (Without Looking Like a Cake Face)
Here at Sweety High, we love wearing makeup—even though most days we don't wear any!
When we're working from home, it's rare that we put on a full face of makeup, but if we're wanting a little glow, we'll put on the essentials. A tinted moisturizer or foundation, mascara, concealer, blush and gloss are all we need. And since the last thing we want to look like is a cake face, choosing the right foundation is so important.
We've tried all sorts of foundations—some disappointed us and others were total knockouts. Keep scrolling to see which foundations we love that cover blemishes without leaving you looking like a cake face.
Il Makiage Woke Up Like This: $45
If you're on IG or TikTok, we're willing to bet you've gotten an ad for Il Makiage's Woke Up Like This foundation. After taking a simple 90-second quiz, you'll be matched with the perfect shade. And after trying it for ourselves, we can honestly say it works perfectly. Not only is the shade spot-on, but the formula itself is buildable, silky-smooth and totally streak-free.

Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation: $48
We started using this Laura Mercier foundation ages ago, and it's still the best. This OG foundation is something everyone should try. If you're looking for a buildable, hydrating and long-wearing foundation, this is the one for you. In fact, it lasts for up to 15 hours—more than you could ever possibly need. Whether you're sweating or it's humid out, the foundation isn't going anywhere.

Rude Cosmetics Double Trouble: $7.50
If you're looking for more of a drugstore foundation, we couldn't recommend Double Trouble from Rude Cosmetics enough. The formula helps to rid the appearance of redness, dark spots, uneven skin and acne, thanks to its moisturizing and thick consistency.

Pixi Beauty H2O SkinTint: $24
Sometimes we don't want to look like we're wearing makeup, and that's exactly where the H2O SkinTint from Pixi Beauty comes in. This tinted gel has a formula that's water-based and goes on so smoothly. It's buildable and lightweight, which we adore. We love wearing this on days we're staying in, going to the gym or running errands.

bareMinerals Original Liquid Mineral Foundation w/ SPF 20: $35
If it's good enough for Hailey Bieber, it's definitely good enough for us. We've been using the Original Liquid Mineral Foundation from bareMinerals for quite some time now, and we have no complaints. The formula even comes with SPF, meaning you're not only wearing makeup but protecting it, too. It's lightweight and gives off the no-makeup makeup look we love.
