The Best Merchandise From 6 of Your Favorite Musicians
An underrated aspect of being a superfan is owning all the merchandise, and once you start collecting, it can be a challenge to stop, especially when your favorite artist consistently pumps out great products.
We've fallen victim to this obsession, and although our wallets are crying, our hearts are happy. With that said, we're honored to introduce you to the world of artist merchandise. Below, find six of our favorite items from the past few years.
Taylor Swift folklore Cardigan
At the height of the pandemic, Taylor Swift spearheaded a cultural moment in music with the surprise drop of her eighth studio album, folklore, and prompted a bonding experience between Swifties with her collectible merchandise: the cardigan.
Taylor released the sweater to commemorate folklore's lead single, "cardigan," leading to a hunt within her fandom to purchase the many versions she continued to put out. If you were a Swiftie during folklore's promotion, you probably remember the era when your favorite stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams were seen sporting one, only driving the need for a cardigan in your own closet.

Olivia Rodrigo SOUR Patch Kids
With Olivia's announcement of her new single, "vampire," we have to take a second to observe the glory of SOUR.
Olivia's marketing was perfectly curated, from her brand image as the inevitably heartbroken teen to the fun live events like SOUR Prom. Amongst our favorites, however, was the Sour Patch Kids collaboration. These SOUR purple candies were available for a limited time at the New York City flagship store and on Interscope Records' website, which means you can only purchase these for resale.
BTS Lightstick Case: $22.29
Any K-pop fan knows how integral the lightstick is to every fandom and live show, which makes it all the more creative for BTS to sell a special case for their version, the Army Bomb.
For those unaware, a K-pop lightstick is a unique wand that fans collect and bring to concerts. When you attend a show, the lightstick will sync to the music to match the song's vibe or illuminate the crowd with shapes and words. They can be heavy and inconvenient to carry, but BTS are making it a little easy to bring a slice of the Bangtan boys in their Army Bomb carrier. It's discreet and cute.
Kacey Musgraves 'Slow Burn' Candle: $52
Kacey Musgraves has always had crazy merchandise—we'll let you explore that on your own—but our favorite product she's released is her collaboration with Boy Smells for a candle named Slow Burn.
Firstly, "Slow Burn" is one of the best songs from Golden Hour, and it is such a creative idea to use that title for something you can actually burn. This luxurious candle has notes of incense, raspberry and cedarwood and can burn for up to 50 hours—talk about a slow burn.

Harry Styles Pleasing Nail Polish: $20
Harry Styles' Pleasing brand isn't necessarily music merchandise, but the branding itself is so characteristically Harry that we couldn't help but include the main product on our list.
Though Harry wasn't the first man to consistently keep his nails manicured, he definitely was one of the few who popularized it in mainstream media. So, when Harry launched Pleasing, his nail polish company, it made perfect sense. We've tried the Pleasing products ourselves, and we were shocked at how high-quality they were.
Billie Eilish x Nike Sneakers: $130
Undoubtedly, Billie Eilish has one of the most iconic styles in the industry right now.
Billie has gone through a change—baggy clothes no longer make up her everyday look—but one thing that has stayed consistent is her shoe game. The pop icon has always been one to have squeaky clean, unique sneakers, and there was no better way to celebrate that than with a collaboration with Nike.
