All the Innovative Candies We’ll Be Snacking on This Halloween

It's finally the spooky season, and we're already dreaming about our playful costumes, frightful haunted houses and, of course, all of the Halloween candy we could dream of.

As certified sweet tooths, just because we're not longer trick-or-treating doesn't mean we're not indulging in some tasty sweet treats this season. Of course, we'll be nibbling on some classics, but mostly we're all about new innovations and unique twists on traditional candy. To discover the treats that have our hearts this season, just keep scrolling.

Kit Kat Ghost Toast

We get so excited every time we get to try a new Kit Kat flavor, and Ghost Toast may be among their very best. These Kit Kats substitute the traditional chocolate for a cinnamon toast-flavored creme, combining sugar and spice to create something very, very nice.

Reese's Werewolf Tracks

Reese's also gets a twist this year with the Werewolf Tracks variety, especially for Halloween. It's the peanut butter and chocolate combination you know and love in a Reese's Peanut Butter cup, except with a vanilla-flavored creme on the top half for a creamy, sweet twist.

UNREAL Snacks Halloween Variety Bag

Looking for a tastier twist on classic Halloween candies, while still feeling indulgent? UNREAL Snacks has you covered with simple ingredients and about half the sugar of the competition. Their Halloween Variety Bag includes Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups and Dark Chocolate Coconut Bars, reminiscent of Reese's and Mounds, minus the Halloween candy-level sugar content.

Sow Good Freeze-Dried Marshmallow Pumpkins

If you haven't tried Sow Good's freeze-dried candies, you're missing out, and their Freeze-Dried Marshmallow Pumpkins are one of our favorites from the brand. These puffy yet crisp pumpkins have an irresistible marshmallow flavor with a crunch, plus iced facial features for even more bite.

Compartés Blood Orange Halloween Chocolate Bar

Gourmet chocolatier Compartés has some of the best seasonal chocolate bars and truffles, and we especially adore the way this Blood Orange Halloween Chocolate Bar captures the spirit of Halloween. The haunting packaging is reminiscent of both Edvard Munch's The Scream and the Scream franchise's Ghostface, and the chocolate inside is even better, blending the tang of blood orange into a rich and smooth white chocolate.

HI-CHEW Gummies Sour Mix

HI-CHEW is one of our all-time favorite fruity candies, and with every new product drop, we fall in love with them even more. One of their most recent launches was new Gummies, available in both Original and Sour varieties, and they're just as juicy and bursting with flavor as you'd expect. The Sour versions come in tart Green Apple, Pineapple and Watermelon flavors for the perfect combination of sweet and sour, and we can't get enough. Throughout October, you can also get 15% off Stand-Up Pouches and Gummies when you order from their site with the code TRICKORCHEW.

Ferrero Rocher Chocolate Bars

As people who unabashedly ask for Ferrero Rocher chocolate hazelnut pralines for Valentine's and other holidays, we've loved discovering that the brand also makes decadent Chocolate Bars. They come in Milk Hazelnut, Dark Hazelnut, White Hazelnut, Milk & Almond and Dark Hazelnut & Caramel flavors, all of which are rich and nutty, possibly even overtaking the classic Ferrero Rocher confections as our favorites.

Jolly Rancher Ropes

We love the bold fruity flavors of Jolly Rancher, but don't always love cutting our tongues on the hard candies, which is why we've been so happy to see them branch out in recent years. The new Jolly Rancher Ropes are right up our alleys, consisting of a chewy gummy rope on the outside, filled with a tart and even more flavorful soft candy center. They come in Blue Raspberry + Cherry and Watermelon + Green Apple bags, and you really can't go wrong if you buy one of each.

Kinder Chocolate

Technically, Kinder Chocolate has been around for more than 50 years, but this classic Italian chocolate bar is now available in the U.S. for the first time thanks to Kinder U.S., and we couldn't be happier to no longer have to turn to the imported aisle at specialty shops to enjoy it. The bar is a milk chocolate lover's dream, coating a smooth, creamy milk filling with milk chocolate in bite-sized, break-off pieces perfect for sharing.

Tony's Chocolonely Variety Pack Tiny Tony's Pouch

We love Tony's Chocolonely and their slave-free chocolate mission and rich, high-quality flavors, but we're not always in the mood to commit to a full bar. Their Variety Pack Tiny Tony's Pouch is the perfect alternative, offering bite-sized pieces of their iconic Milk Chocolate, Milk Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt, Milk Chocolate Honey Almond Nougat, Dark Milk Chocolate Pretzel Toffee, Dark Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt flavors.

CHIMANGO Chili Mango Slices

And finally, for something that isn't technically candy, but is probably even more flavorful and iconic, there's CHIMANGO. The brand real slices of sweet yet tart mango, dries them to perfection and then coats them in a blend of sugar, chili, paprika, red pepper and salt to recreate the classic Mexican recipe. The result is a fruit snack with a bold, sweet and spicy flavor that'll always make you want to take at least one more bite.
