Twitter Had the Best Reactions to the New Aladdin Trailer—and One Big Complaint
OMG!
The teaser trailer for Disney's live-action version of Aladdin debuted on Thursday, October 11, and even though we still have months to go before the film's May 2019 release, Disney fans are already freaking out about what's to come.
The teaser, which clocks in at just under a minute and a half long and has already been viewed more than millions of times, opens with a wide shot of the gorgeous sands of Agrabah, Aladdin's home, and the palace can be seen glistening in the distance.

Once night falls, we see a bird (Iago, is that you?) swoop in and around the city into the tiger-shaped Cave of Wonders, where Aladdin appears to be standing. "Only one may enter here, one whose wealth lies far within," a deep, gravely voice says, just like in the animated classic. "A diamond in the rough."
Just before the trailer ends we catch a glimpse of Aladdin reaching for the genie's lamp, but that's all Disney is willing to give us thus far.
Still, despite the teaser's brevity, people seem psyched to see more. Check out some spirited reactions to the trailer below:

However, as many viewers pointed out, though the teaser gives us a look at Aladdin and Iago, Princess Jasmine, who will be played by Naomi Scott, is frustratingly missing from this first look:
Aladdin: I can show you the world…

Aladdin: Ummmm…it's called a teaser
