Intensity

Scorpios are fiercely devoted to their passions, and when they're invested in something, they never give less than 100% of themselves. It takes something special to truly capture their attention, but once they decide they care about something, they take it very seriously. This unique kind of drive means that when a Scorpio commits themself to the right cause, they have the power to drive some serious change.

 

Independence

Scorpios know their worth, and while they do sometimes rely on the people they care about, they don't actually need anyone else in order to succeed and flourish. They believe in themselves, and they don't need anyone else validating their accomplishments or beliefs in order to feel worthy. When they're in a bind and there's no one around to help, they have the confidence to know they can handle things on their own.

Determination

Scorpios love a good challenge, and when they're truly determined to see something through, their wills are basically unbreakable. When an obstacle gets in their way, they don't get discouraged; they simply see it as another personal hurdle to overcome and prove they can do it. They can be incredibly competitive and love to win. Although their sheer determination can sometimes manifest as stubbornness, they rarely fail to see things through to the very end.

 

Loyalty

Though Scorpios can be distrustful of people until respect has been earned, they have a powerful sense of loyalty to the people close to them. They believe that trust is the most important thing but understand that you can't always expect it. They'll do absolutely anything for the people they treasure, and if a Scorpio has your back, you know that you're going to end up ahead.

Scorpios have a keen sense of intuition, and often it can seem that their knowledge of what others are thinking and feeling verges on psychic ability. Even if you're not so empathic, you can hone your own intuition by really paying attention to what people say and do. Most of the time, all this requires is listening more than you speak, which is a default mode for Scorpio.
