Somehow we made it to the end of October. Spooky season is tomorrow, and before you know it, the holidays will be upon us.

Where does the time go? Since the start of quarantine back in March, we've been stuck inside a majority of the time, but that doesn't mean we haven't been entertained. Some of our favorite artists have been hard at work, producing new music and content just for us loyal fans.

Interested to find out what's new in the music world? Keep reading for the ten big things happening in music the week of Oct. 30, 2020.

It sure does come across that way, and we love it.

2. Country Singer Cam Drops Latest Album, The Otherside

Grammy-nominated country singer Cam just dropped her sophomore album, The Otherside. The album, which consists of 11 stellar songs, is full of comforting music and lyrics. In addition to songs she wrote and collaborated on herself, she chose to include the track "Changes," written by the one and only Harry Styles. In a press release about the album, Cam said, "I've got some stories to share from a formative chapter in my life. Personal changes and perspective changes, learning to accept the jumble of darkness and light in myself and in others. It's terrifying and electric and the point of being alive."

3. Kim Petras Releases 'Party Til I Die' Just In Time for Halloween

Self-proclaimed queen of Halloween, Kim Petras, surprised fans with a new addition to her spooky project, Turn Off the Light. The new song, "Party Till I Die," is everything we could have ever wanted. Featuring all sorts of beats and sounds that remind us of Halloween, this is the perfect track to jam to this season. Not to mention, the autotune in the song is pretty much legendary.

4. Carson Rowland Drops Single and Music Video, 'Paranoid'

You might recognize Carson Rowland if you watched the Netflix original series, Sweet Magnolias. In addition to his acting skills, he's also an incredible singer. He just dropped his latest single "Paranoid," alongside a fun music video. The song definitely gives off major The Weeknd vibes, so if you enjoy a poppy, upbeat song you can't help but dance to, you absolutely need to give this song a go.

5. Carly Pearce Releases 'Next Girl' Music Video

Carly Pearce's latest music video, "Next Girl," just dropped, and we're simply obsessed. Following the advances that lots of women deal with, Carly offers a glimpse into the female mind in a super relatable way. When asked about the humor of the song and video itself in a press release, Carly said, "While I truly hope the lyrics help the 'next girl' know that a jerk's actions are not her fault. I also wanted to mix some of the often experienced pick-up techniques with a little humor. Come on, do these really work?!"

6. Deacon Drops New Track 'Love For the Summer' Feat. Loren Gray

It's hard to believe Deacon is only 17 in his new track, "Love For the Summer," featuring Loren Gray. When the two join forces in this song, we're left with a dreamy, eccentric vibe we just want to dance and party to. It's the type of track you'd hear in a club, when you're doing your makeup for a night out or at a party with your best friends. This is definitely being added to our weekend playlist.

7. Becky G and Ozuna Release Music Video for 'No Drama'

Becky G and Ozuna just released their music video for "No Drama." These Latin superstars will make you want to get up and dance to their groovy song. In a press release, Becky G said, "I love this collab with Ozuna…  I have always liked his music and I knew that together we could record something amazing. 9. Audrey Mika Drops 'Red Gatorade' Music Video

When we first listened to Audrey Mika's "Red Gatorade," we knew she was an artist we needed to keep an eye on. So when she released the music video earlier this week, we couldn't wait to watch it. Once we got over how stunning her highlighter and hair looked, we were drawn into the set of the video itself. You, too, will love the visuals of steam rising from the floor and sparkly accents. The video continues on with dancing scenes in a mirrored hall, amongst many more fun moments.

10. Keshi Releases Music Video for 'B.Y.S.'

Alongside the release of Keshi's EP Always, he dropped the music video for "B.Y.S." The opening scene immediately draws you in, as you're left staring at a scene involving bloody money scattered on the floor and a man who appears to be dead in a mask. The video follows a group of guys dressed up in tactical gear and masks, who are presumably about to rob a bank of some sort. We won't ruin the end for you, but it's certainly a must-watch.
