Billie Eilish Took Los Angeles by Storm During the Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour

On Dec. 17, 2024, Billie Eilish owned Los Angeles.

It was just one of five of the superstar's sold-out shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood on the Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour, and Billie put on a master class in how a performer should handle a concert.

Billie's charisma is second to none, and her love for being on stage was evident. She had a contagious smile the entire night, and you could just tell how excited she was to be performing for us. The entire crowd gave that joyous energy right back to Billie, singing every word for every song, except for the one minute of silence while Billie recorded her voice on loop—a mesmerizing moment that showcased her artistry and raw vocals.

The 360-degree stage design was a genius move for the Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour. Billie could be seen by everyone in the arena, making her way around the different sides of the stage with ease. It felt as though she was connecting personally with every single person in the crowd. It was unbelievable how much energy she possessed, rarely slowing down unless it was to thank the crowd or acknowledge her fellow musicians on stage. The dazzling lights and effects on the screens elevated the show's ambiance, perfectly complementing Billie and the mood of each song.

Billie did a great job balancing songs from her previous albums and her most recent no skip album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft." Standout performances included high-energy renditions of "bad guy," "THE GREATEST," "bury a friend" and the emotional "L'AMOUR DE MA VIE." Billie also surprised everyone with a heartfelt rendition of the Christmas classic "Silver Bells," blending her ethereal voice with holiday spirit. Now we can't help but hope for a Billie Eilish Christmas album. Maybe one day!

The show wasn't without its surprises. Charli xcx joined Billie on stage for an electrifying performance of "Guess," while her brother and longtime collaborator, Finneas, stayed on stage for a few stripped-down acoustic songs, including the deeply moving "SKINNY." Nat and Alex Wolff opened the night with a stellar set, warming up the audience with their vibrant energy and setting the stage perfectly for Billie's performance.

As the night reached its crescendo, Billie ended the show with a bang—and a shower of confetti—as she performed "BIRDS OF A FEATHER." The entire arena danced along, celebrating the magic of the moment. With her birthday just a day away, Billie turned her pre-birthday show into an unforgettable celebration, leaving the audience in awe of her talent, charm and connection with her fans. It was a night that will be etched in the memories of everyone lucky enough to witness it.
