Body-Positive TikTok Accounts That Will Help You Learn to Love Your Body
We have seen a rise in the acceptance of more diverse bodies in recent years.
Companies like Aerie and Modcloth are refusing to photoshop their models, while Savage X Fenty included a wide array of bodies in their latest fashion show. These media advances are amazing, yet 50% of teens are still "self-conscious" about their bodies, as reported by Now.org. We may not control how fast media changes, but we can control the media we choose to consume.
It can still be hard to accept your body when you only see one type of body on your social media feeds. You can start to feel better about your body by diversifying your feed with bodies of all shapes and sizes, opening your mind to the idea that all bodies are beautiful. All the influencers of this list preach body positivity and acceptance. We could all use a little positivity and a reminder that all bodies are beautiful.
