Dolores Umbridge, Tracker Jackers & Other Baddies We’d Hate To See IRL

In the new trailer for the upcoming Goosebumps movie, fiction becomes terrifying reality as the creatures from horror author R.L. Stine's books leave the pages and come to life.  Books have given us some creepy, evil, and downright bizarre monsters over the years. Here's a look at some we'd really rather not see IRL. Like, ever.

The Hunger Games:

Tracker Jackers, Wolf Mutts, and Monkey Mutts

The Capitol has mutated so many horrible creatures in The Hunger Games series that we couldn't choose just one. The wasp-like Tracker Jackers have stingers so powerful that a few stings means almost certain death.

They also send mutated wolves after Katniss and Peeta. And if that wasn't creepy enough, each muttation resembles a fallen tribute.

In Catching Fire, Katniss and her crew even face monkeys with powerful bites who attack anyone on sight for no reason. We're NOT fans.

 The Maze Runner:

Grievers

Once the maze's artificial sun goes down, the Grievers emerge, ready to tear apart any poor soul left behind. Not only are these critters creepy and crawly, but they have saws and whirring mechanical parts, always ready to strike. Whoever made these was not very nice, and we'd really like them to just stay away, thank you very much.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe:

The White Witch

the lion the witch and the wardrobe the white witch

The White Witch is powerful, smart and super manipulative. She's a master of getting people to turn to her side. Not a good combo! She starts by turning a poor kid against his family, and then sends Narnia into an eternal winter with no Christmas for like a hundred years. Come on, girl. That's just cruel.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone:

Thiago

daughter of smoke and bone thiago villains

There are no words to describe the evil that is Thiago. While there are plenty of horrible creatures in Laini Taylor's series, none are quite as horrible as the Wolf Chimera. Fueled by jealousy and old prejudices, Thiago goes to great lengths to get his way. Plus he's a powerful, handsome wolf, so people just kind of follow along and do what he says, which is kind of cheating, if you ask us.

Harry Potter:

Aragog

Blast-Ended Skrewts

Dolores Umbridge

The Harry Potter series was not lacking in terrifying creatures. First there's Aragog, the giant spider nurtured by Hagrid. NOPE. Then, there are Blast-Ended Skrewts, disgusting hybrid creatures, bred by Hagrid, with hard shells, a stinger and explosive propulsion. Did we mention they can also suck blood? Hagrid needs to stop, now.

Evil takes a new totally new form in Dolores Umbridge. The character is evil in its purest form. Even Voldemort can get some sympathy, but Umbridge? Umm, no. She is literally the worst.

What fictional baddies are you glad don't exist? Do you have a character you're just dying to see in real life? Let us know in the comments!
