This Mesmerizing Braided Rose Updo Is the Perfect Spring Hairstyle

Well, thanks to Connecticut-based hair stylist Alison Valsamis, we've found the perfect spring updo.

Our beloved rose gold is constantly making headlines with some new and exciting fad, but Alison takes the rose trend one step further with an intricate and stunning braided rose hairstyle.

Not only is the hairstyle absolutely mesmerizing (seriously, we can't stop staring), it's also the perfect way to welcome spring. We love the look of the pink hair with this rosy updo, but we're positive this detailed design will bring a dose of fabulous spring style to any hair color.

Although the rose looks way too complicated to actually try at home, Alison gave a few tips on the best way to accomplish her inventive new style. The stylist told Allure that she starts at the middle of the rose, creating a small 3-strand braid and rolling it up. Then, she combines fishtails and Dutch fishtails to build the outer layers and add depth to the style. She finishes with a Dutch braid on the outermost side to perfectly finish off the rosy 'do.

Totally simple, right?
