Hailee Steinfeld Gets Way More Than She Bargained for in the New Bumblebee Trailer

There's nothing like a new friend—particularly when the one in question happens to be robot superhero.

That's what we see in the new Bumblebee trailer. Released Sept. 24, the preview shows star Hailee Steinfeld bonding with her unique car-slash-robot, Bee. It appears the two are poised for quite the adventure.

Bumblebee is a prequel to the 2007's Transformers, and if you've seen those movies, you'll remember the title character. Bee is a popular one, and in the upcoming movie, we'll learn about his beginnings.

The trailer teases plenty of action. After Charlie (Hailee) buys Bee for her 18th birthday, she ends up discovering that he's actually an Autobot and there are other robots out there. To top if off, there's a potential deadly threat to humankind, and Charlie and Bee get involved.
