Butterbeer Ice Cream Is Now Available at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter just got a whole lot tastier.
To be honest, we've never needed an excuse to visit the Universal Studios Hollywood attraction, but if we did, we'd totally say we were going for the Butterbeer.
While the delicious beverage has been served at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for several years now, Butterbeer ice cream formally made its debut on Thursday, June 28, and is officially a year-round, permanent addition to the menu.
As Butterbeer fanatics might know, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction in Japan is already familiar with Butterbeer ice cream, and the park in Orlando sells a soft-serve version, but this is the first time traditional Butterbeer ice cream has been available stateside.
According to a press release via Teen Vogue, the sweet treat tastes a bit like butterscotch and shortbread, and can be complemented with an array of toppings.
"The rich palate-pleasing Butterbeer-flavored hard pack ice cream is a delightful and delicious new addition to the menu of Butterbeer items currently available," the release states, "including such Butterbeer favorites as traditional, frozen and hot beverages, as well as Butterbeer Potted Cream and Butterbeer Fudge."
In other words, the new Butterbeer ice cream is in very good company, and we can't wait to try it!
