The Fiercest Females Lead CMA Nominations and We Can’t Wait to See Who Wins ????
Awards season is right around the corner and we're celebrating today because the 50th Annual CMA Awards nominees have finally been announced.
Before we break all the show's goodness down for you, we have to talk about the fact that Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are joining forces to host the show for the ninth year straight. Talk about a dream team!
Alright, we can hardly contain our excitement, so we'll start with the nominees we cannot stop talking about.
Let's start on the hostess with the mostest, Carrie Underwood, who is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Musical Event of the Year.

Next up is our girl Kelsea Ballerini who is up for two huge awards. Can you believe she's up for Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year? We can! "Peter Pan" is easily one of our fave songs of 2016 so far.
Also up for Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year is Maren Morris, whose hit "My Church" we cannot get out of our heads.
Two girls we love, Maddie & Tae, are up for Vocal Duo of the Year against Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Brothers Osbourne and Joey + Rory.
Congrats are also in order for one of our faves, Cassadee Pope, who is up for a CMA with Chris Young for their dynamic duo of "Think of You." If the two take home the Musical Event of the Year category, they'll both have some shiny new hardware to add to their shelf.
Kacey Musgraves is also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year against other heavy hitters including Kelsea, Carrie, Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris. This totally deserves a pizza party.
