How 15 Celebrities Have Styled Their Face Masks
Like it or not, face masks are totally essential if you're going to be outside and around other people right now.
Masks might be a little uncomfortable, with the tendency to make it tough to breathe (or even see, if you wear glasses), and they might also make you feel a little self-conscious about how you look. At the same time, they can look downright stylish with the right outfit and confidence.
If you don't believe us, keep scrolling to see how 15 of our favorite stars have styled their masks.
Miley Cyrus
Why should we expect Miley's face mask to be any less bold and brash than her everyday style? This image from May 8 reveals a vibrant layered mask, complete with a big tongue sticking out, and we're sure she loved turning some heads when she wore it.
Sebastian Stan
Sebastian Stan is no stranger to wearing a mask. As the Winter Soldier, his uniform included a mask that obscured most of his face in the movies, and this woven black mask from a photo in early May isn't all that different from the one we've come to know and love on him.
Storm Reid
We love the makeshift Nike mask Storm Reid dons at the beginning of this video from early May, and the clip gets even better when she starts showing off her moves to Drake's "Toosie Slide" with her boss of a mom. Can we say parent goals?
Asher Angel
Asher Angel looks very cool in this pic from May 15 with a black face mask reading the title of his single "Guilty." His Air Jordan hoodie looks comfy and ultra-stylish all a once.
Billie Eilish
This pic of Billie Eilish dressed head to toe in Burberry might technically be from last Aug., but that just shows how ahead of the curve she consistently manages to be. In a social distancing world, it looks protective and chic.
Jaylen Barron
It's said that the color black matches with any outfit, so Jaylen Barron's all-black face mask in this pic from the end of April is pretty much the perfect accessory. Her outfit also matches the color scheme, besides a tiny pink accent on her pocket. We love this look.
Katy Perry
Katy Perry's upcoming album Daisies doesn't drop until Aug., but she gave us a little teaser with this themed face mask posted on May 21. Not only does it get us super hyped for more music, but it also pairs perfectly with her green and yellow ensemble.
Lily Chee
Lily Chee is proof you don't have to have an expensive or personalized mask to totally rock the look. With her big sunglasses, crop top and shorts in this pic from early May, she looks safe and fashionable while collecting cookies.
Priyanka Chopra
Even with most of her face covered up, Priyanka Chopra looks gorgeous as always in this pic from May 11 wearing a mask designed by fashion stylist Avo Yermagyan. The bold print looks like something out of a fairytale book, and we're obsessed.
Joshua Rush
Just because you're sporting a mask doesn't mean you have to dress casually, and this Joshua Rush photo from May 23 is proof. His grey mask with a filter looks right at home with his velvety blue suit jacket, and he absolutely rocks the combo.
Jason Momoa
Jason Momoa isn't just a hero on the big screen. In this video from the end of April, he shows off the masks he designed in collaboration with On the Roam. Not only do they protect people, but mask sales support charities including First Responders Children's Foundation and 1Climb. And as always, he manages to look super cool—especially in the pink one.
Jayden Bartels
Jayden Bartels' Cinco de Mayo Insta post contained all of the essentials—her phone, a glass of iced coffee with a reusable metal straw and a striking face mask. We wish we could emulate her stylish simplicity just as well.
Dove Cameron
Dove Cameron's style is all about making the basics totally elegant, and this pic from late April is proof. We love the way she combines an awesome camo cap with a black crop top, comfy-looking pants and a denim jacket tied around her waist, and the classic dust mask is the cherry on top.
Hugh Jackman
Just because Hugh Jackman played Wolverine doesn't mean he's above practicing safe social distancing. In this shot posted May 21, he shows off the heavy-duty mask he wore during his bike ride near the water. We hope his superhero status inspires others to do the same.
David Dobrik
David Dobrik is an angel—and one that practices safety, at that. On April 24 he posted this photo wearing a black L.A. Dodgers cap and matching face mask, complete with latex gloves, during a day of giving out video game consoles, Apple products and T-shirts—wrapped around $10,000 checks.—in L.A.
