9 Celebs You Didn’t Know Went to High School Together

Stars, they're just like us.

Before these celebrities became famous, they were just regular ol' people trying to survive high school. The easiest way to do that is by making friends. And, as luck would have it, these celebrity pairings found their way to one another. Guess you are what you attract.

Make your way through this gallery to discover some actors, models and musicians you had no idea went to the same high schools. Prepare for the shock of your life!

1. Ansel Elgort and Timotheé Chalamet

Ansel Elgort and Timotheé Chalamet are two of the hottest young stars in Hollywood. Before they were plastered on every billboard, the duo attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in New York together. They were even on the school's basketball team. Even though they're incredibly busy, the two remain fairly close today.

2. Olivia Holt, Zendaya and Austin North

Olivia Holt and Austin North played brother and sister on Disney Channel's I Didn't Do It. Behind the scenes, they were tutored on set together. They graduated in 2015, alongside Zendaya (who was also tutored on set, but not with Olivia and Austin), from Oak Park High School in California. Disney alum Peyton List also grated from the same school, but in 2016.

3. Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood

Before touring with One Direction, Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood started their band 5 Seconds of Summer while attending Norwest Christian College in Australia. While drummer Ashton Irwin didn't attend high school with the rest of the band, he still found his way into it.

4. Jessie J and Adele

It's not surprising these two vocal powerhouses attended the famed BRIT School in England, but we were shocked to learn the pair were actually pretty close during their time there. In an interview with People, Jessie J admitted she and Adele would sing together during their lunch hour. We would've loved to witness those jam sessions.

5. Jonah Hill and Adam Levine

Though actor Jonah Hill and Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine attended Brentwood School in California, their friendship goes way, way back. Turns out, their dads were friends before the two of them were even born. They've basically been inseparable ever since. Jonah even officiated Adam's wedding to model Behati Prinsloo in 2014.

6. Ben Platt and Beanie Feldstein

Broadway stars Ben Platt and Beanie Feldstein have an incredibly close friendship that dates back to when they first met at a mutual friend's Bat Mitzvah. The two reconnected while attending Harvard-Westlake School in California and the rest is history.

7. Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston

Before Eddie Redmayne starred in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, he and Avengers star Tom Hiddleston attended the all-male boarding school Eton College in England. Eddie and Tom even participated in a school theater production together. Tom revealed that he played the right front leg of an elephant Eddie was riding on while on The Graham Norton Show in 2017. Everyone needs to start somewhere.

8. Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid

Though everyone knows Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid to be BFFs, Kendall revealed (in an interview for photographer Mario Testino's podcast) that she and Bella Hadid were really good friends in high school. She only became close with Gigi after both of their modeling careers took off. Kendall said the two would hang out all the time at Sierra Canyon School in California.

9. Jack Antonoff and Scarlett Johansson

Avengers star Scarlett Johansson and Bleachers' Jack Antonoff attended Professional Children's School in New York where they even attended prom together. The high school sweethearts have since gone their separate ways, but it's still shocking to know the pair dated when they were younger.

While not all of us are lucky enough to attend classes with a celebrity, we'll all crush on THESE six different guys in high school.
