Over the last few years, singer-songwriter and producer CG5 has established himself as a viral artist in more ways than one.

In addition to releasing mega-hits such as "I Got No Time," "Dancin'" and "Sleep Well," to rack up more than half a billion global streams, he was also the creator of 2023's ubiquitous "Everybody told me that I sound like CG5" TikTok sound. "I was recently married to the love of my life, my best friend. She's amazing. She's everything to me. I can't wait to keep her in my life forever."

"I just recently bought a renewed Wii, and then got a bunch of games, so I can binge-play it again. Nostalgia is truly a wonderful thing."

"Right now, I'm playing a lot of the Wii, as I said, but I also got a Switch and a PS5 that I enjoy getting on and playing things like the new Spider-Man games or Super Mario Bros. Wonder."

4. Fans often come to him seeking music-making advice.

"When I have concerts on my tour, I always have meet and greets beforehand with the fans, and they always ask me for advice about making music. I always tell them to keep working hard on your craft, and take criticism, and with time, you can become great. But always be willing to learn."

5. He appreciates his own work ethic.

"My favorite thing about myself is the ability that I have to work fast and hard on music projects, and the enjoyment I have in doing it. My life is wonderful because the ability I've gained to work like I do, and I'm so grateful for that."

6. He's planning on getting a puppy with his wife in April.

"But my parents also have a dog named Rupert. He's a Scottish terrier and miniature poodle mix, and he's the most adorable puppy. My wife wants to get a whole bunch of dogs when we're old, once we get a house with a big piece of land for them all to roam around and live happily ever after."

7. If he could pick anyone from history to be his mentor, it'd be Michael Jackson.

"He is known as the King of Pop for a reason. I want to know what was going on in that clever head of his. There will never be another musician like him."

8. His routine for unwinding after a tough day is simple.

"I play some video games and watch movies with my wife. It's all I need to feel better after a long day working on a project or overwhelming business meetings."

"I do vocal warmups, some of which are through this cool little thing called a singing straw. It helps me regulate oxygen a lot better, because I'm breathing through such a small hole."

"It's so wonderful to know that. Because of my diagnosis, it has helped me understand why I've never been normal in the eyes of others. But I am grateful that I am abnormal, because if I wasn't, I wouldn't have the successful career that I have today."
