We Tested All the Colors in China Glaze’s Glam Finale Nail Polish Collection

It's still a tad too soon to set our intentions for 2018, but it's never too early to start thinking about how we want to look when the ball drops, amirite?

When China Glaze sent me their brand-new Glam Finale collection, I couldn't wait to twist open the polishes and see just how festive I could make my nails look.

My coworker, Jade, and I spent a recent afternoon mixing and matching shades, playing with sparkles and basically doing some major planning, so that when New Year's Eve actually arrives, our nails will be the last thing we need to worry about.

There are 12 colors in the collection: Don't Be a Snow-Flake (silver glitter in a milky translucent base), Disco Ball Drop (holographic glitter in a transparent base), Slay Bells Ring (metallic grey base), Queen of Sequins (magenta glitter in a dark purple base), As Good as It Glitz (lilac-golden metallic base), Sparkle On (red glitter in a red base), Santa's Side Chick (berry-red shimmer), Big Hair & Bubbly (gold glitter in a transparent base), Toast It Up! (metallic golden champagne base), The Perfect Holly-Day (yellowish-green shimmer), New Year, New Boo (royal blue shimmer) and Teal the Fever (blue glitter in a dark, aquamarine base).

Below are ways we played around with the shades to create a variety of color combos for the momentous occasion.

Here's the look I'll probably rock on NYE—the more color the better, right?!

My nails look good now, but I used to bite them, which led me to THIS very experiment.
