Christmas In Washington Event With First Family!
On December 15, the First Family of the United States had an amazing time at the 32nd annual Christmas in Washington charity event!
The event was hosted by Hugh Jackman, best known for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men films.
"I want to thank our host Hugh Jackman for keeping our safety in mind by leaving Wolverine's claws at home," President Obama joked. The two had a great rapport throughout the rest of the show.
Many incredible performers joined the Obama for the event, including Anna Kendrick, the Backstreet Boys, Sheryl Crow and Janelle Monae.
Before the concert began, President Obama and his family also helped gather presents for the young patients at Children's National Medical Center in Washington.
The family was in high spirits when five patients from the hospital came in dressed as Santa's elves. During a photo session, the children made funny faces for the First Family and the camera.
The family continued laughing as the pictures were taken, not able to resist when the kids continued their antics. This was a high point for many who attended the star-studded event.
The charity events airs on Friday, December 20th on TNT, giving fans across the country a chance to witness the holiday fun and fantastic performances, including the Obama family singing Christmas carols with the performers!
