Add Clean & Clear’s New Detox Clay Mask to Your Nighttime Skincare Routine

As far as I'm concerned, Clean & Clear owns the skincare game.

I've been using their products long before I even knew how important it is to have a skincare routine.

Recently, the brand expanded their Night Relaxing line with a Detox Clay Mask, which they were kind enough to send my way. Keep scrolling for my thoughts on the product.

The Product

This clay mask is made with two powerful mineral clays, bentonite and kaolin, which get deep into the pores to remove dirt, oil and other impurities from your complexion.

While it works to detoxify your skin, its relaxing aroma helps you unwind before bed.

Simply leave the mask on for 15 minutes, then wash it off to reveal a cleaner complexion.

 

The Experience

As I spread the clay around my face, I quickly learned that a little goes a long way—which is something I was stoked about, considering the container isn't that large.

The mask smelled amazing and I could feel myself instantly relaxing as I put it on. I let it work its magic for 15 minutes, as recommended, then washed it off.

My skin felt ridiculously soft and fresh after I cleaned off the clay, so it's definitely something I'll be using often as part of my nighttime skincare routine. It also helped me relax before bedtime, which is always a plus.

The only downside to clay masks is that they're a bit messier to put on and  take off than a simple sheet mask. But I do feel as though the clay cleanses my skin better than a sheet mask.

Bottom Line

Overall, my experience with the clay mask was a pretty positive one. It made my skin look and feel amazing and it helped me unwind after a long day.

It does take a little more effort to apply and then take off, but it's totally worth it. Plus, it's only $7, so you really can't go wrong.
