ColourPop’s First Foundation Is Here, and We Love the Price and Shade Range
Foundations with wider shade ranges often come with bigger price tags, but that doesn't have to be the case.
Just look at ColourPop: The company has announced that its first-ever foundation will launch soon, and the product is both inclusive and affordable.
The foundation is part of the brand's growing No Filter collection, and it will come in 42 shades, Popsugar reports. That's a big deal on its own, but when you add in that it will only cost $12 a bottle … well, we're still wrapping our heads around it. But it's definitely real. ColourPop shared photos of it via Instagram and described it as having a "full coverage, long-wearing formula with a natural matte finish."
The brand also describes its No Filter Foundation as "never cakey" thanks to its oil-free, lightweight formula. We're hoping it delivers, because in case you couldn't already tell, we're excited. It may not be quite as cheap as Maybelline's Fit Me Foundation, which offers a similar number of shades, but it costs a fraction of what many other foundations that come in 40-plus shades do.
On top of that, the product is vegan, cruelty-free and oil-free.
With all this focus on ColourPop's first foundation, we don't want to overlook the other products joining it in the No Filter collection. The brand is also launching No Filter Sheer Matte Powder and No Filter Loose Setting Powder, both of which will cost $9, and two new foundation brushes, according to Bustle.
Now, if only we knew exactly when these products were going to drop…
