Once upon a time, there was only one kind of Cheetos snacks—and that just wasn't enough.

Frito-Lay has rolled out a lot of options over the years, and we now have Cheetos Puffs, Fantastix, Flavor Shots, Paws and, of course, the original form: Crunchy Cheetos. They're an oldie and a goodie that comes in a variety of flavors, so we decided to rank them in order of deliciousness. That means we've eaten enough Cheetos to make Chester Cheetah very, very proud and are ready to share our thoughts.

6. Cheetos Crunchy XXTRA Flamin' Hot Cheese Flavored Snacks

Some people think twice the spice is twice as nice, but when it comes to XXTRA Flamin' Hot Cheetos, we're just not with them. We can handle these extra spicy snacks, thank you very much, but we just don't want to very often. The heat takes enough away from the flavor that we'd eat any other Cheetos variety over these given the choice. #SorryNotSorry.
 

5. Cheetos Crunchy Flamin' Hot Limón Cheese Flavored Snacks

Flamin' Hot Limón gives the regular Flamin' Hot flavor a distinct citrusy twist, and we approve. The lime tang is truly spot-on. Yet, while we'll happily eat a bag now and again, we just don't crave that taste as much as we do the other options still to come.
 

4. Cheetos Crunchy Flamin' Hot Chipotle Ranch Cheese Flavored Snacks

Flamin' Hot Chipotle Ranch Cheetos are another ultra-spicy treat, but this time we get hints of chipotle ranch. The flavor makes these Cheetos taste creamier, which seems to give them a slower burn. It makes eating them an interesting experience; sometimes they don't seem very spicy at all, but then the heat hits you. It's honestly a little confusing, but we like that enough to rank them over all the other Cheetos so far. We don't quite crave them like the others, though.

These are the original Cheetos, and oh, are they delicious. There's a reason they've been around since 1948: They're salty, cheesy, crunchy and nearly impossible to stop eating. They deserve a solid placement on this list, and they've gotten it. We find them almost as mouth-watering as the final two options.

2. Cheetos Crunchy Cheddar Jalapeño Cheese Flavored Snacks

There are a lot of spicy varieties in the Crunchy Cheetos family, and Cheddar Jalapeño Cheetos make for another. Unlike others, though, these aren't Flamin' Hot. They have a lot less spice, which gives the cheese a chance to (deliciously) come through. If we weren't such suckers for the last item on this list, they'd be our top choice.

People are so obsessed with Flamin' Hot Cheetos that the snack inspired a Sprinkles cupcake in 2018. And you know what? We freely admit we're some of those people. We like all of the Cheetos on this list, but there's something especially addicting about this flavor. It is the one that turns us into Cheetos-gobbling monsters, every time. No disrespect to the others, but if we could only eat one Crunchy Cheetos variety ever, we'd have to pick these.
