The Cute But Rascally Animal You Are, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

We don't know about you, but our Instagram Discover pages are absolutely packed with rascally yet totally cute wild animals, and we simply can't get enough.

From raccoons and skunks to opossums and ferrets, we simply can't get enough of them. If you feel the same, be sure to scroll down to your zodiac sign below to find out which animal best suits your personality.

Aries (March 21 – April 19): Raccoon

Raccoons are the first critters that come to mind when we think of this category of animal, so it only makes sense they'd be assigned to the first sign of the zodiac. Raccoons are clever, driven and active, just likes Aries—and once they've set their minds to something, they're pretty much unstoppable.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Fox

Taurus is a regal sign that matches the personality of the cunning fox quite well. They're known for their cleverness and ability to navigate tough situations dependably, as well as their beauty. Taurus would settle for nothing less!

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Opossum

Opossums are some of the sweetest creatures if you just give them the chance, and sociable Geminis are in the position to do just that. Just like Geminis are rarely seen without their loyal gang of friends, affectionate opossums carry their young around in pouches. Like Gemini, they can also be hot and cold—being feisty one minute and playing dead the next.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Bat

Like Cancer, bats can have a bit of a negative reputation, but once you learn what's on the inside, they're very much worth knowing and loving. Bats are bright and creative, though they do tend to retreat to safety when threatened. They're also most comfortable when surrounded by their friends and loved ones. We bet Cancer can relate!

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Red Panda

Just like Leo, no one can look away when a red panda is frolicking nearby. They're playful yet territorial, and when they enter their arena, they make their mark to ensure that everyone knows it belongs to them. To us, that sounds a lot like Leo arriving at the party, ready to turn heads.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sep. 22): Hedgehog

A hedgehog's quiet and sometimes reserved personality suits Virgo well. These animals tend to keep to themselves, opening up and showing affection only to those they trust most, while minding their own business. Quiet, hard-working Virgo has similar attitudes toward work and play.

Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22): Koala

Libra and Koalas shared a generally relaxed, calm nature. They're usually cool with whatever goes, and would rather let others call the shots. However, koalas are also known to get loud and aggressive from time to time, just like Libra can when their friends are in trouble. They're very good at bringing back balance and saving the day.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Skunk

Misunderstood skunks are the Scorpios of the animal kingdom. Just because skunks can spray doesn't mean they're villains, and just because Scorpios keep to themselves doesn't mean they're evil! Both can be stubborn and closed off, but with the right persuasion, they'll be your most loyal friend.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): Otter

Sagittarius is the adventurer of the zodiac, so it only makes sense that their animal would be one that braves the seas. Their curiosity drives them to discover the world at large, and their intelligent and sociable nature is just like that of Sagittarius.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): Mouse

Mice may be small, but they are incredibly clever and very hardworking, which makes them the perfect pairing with Capricorn. This studious, industrious sign tends to put work and academics about all else. It's a good thing, then, that mice don't have jobs.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): Ferret

Aquarius is a sign that thinks for themselves and doesn't let anyone else sway their opinions, and mischievous and tenacious ferrets share much in common with them. They're not always the best listeners, doing what they want instead of what they're told, but their playful and hilarious nature makes them all too easy to forgive.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): Capybara

Dreamy Pisces is well known as the chillest sign of the zodiac, which is why they have so many similarities to capybaras. Capybaras are very smart and gentle, and have been known to put up with a lot in the animal kingdom, being generally unbothered by just about anything. Perhaps they're also too busy daydreaming to notice.
