Meet Disney Channel’s Next Gen Villains With “Descendants”

A new series of trailers for Descendants, reveals more than ever about  the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie. The movie takes us to a world inhabited by all of Disney's most famous characters, where the heroes live in idyllic Auradon and villains, and their kids, live on a prison island! We're also counting down the seconds until Sweety High and Radio Disney's exclusive red carpet premiere livestream tomorrow, Friday, July 24, at 4:45pm PT!

When the new king Ben, the son of Belle and The Beast, invites the descendants of 4 villains to attend a prestigious school in Auradon, the kids must decide for themselves whether they're destined to be villains or have the chance to be something more. We've got a first look at the descendants, and why their parents are the greatest Disney villains of all time!

We're particularly excited to be introduced to Mal, Maleficent's daughter, played by Dove Cameron. The Liv and Maddie star seems to have some magic up her sleeves and she's ready to kick some butt. Plus, Kristin Chenoweth plays her mom and the two are amazing together!

Jessie star Cameron Boyce plays Cruella de Vil's son, Carlos, in Descendants. His mom has conditioned him to fear dogs, but over the course of the movie it seems her warms to his canine friends… Let's hope he doesn't decide to make a coat!

Sofia Carson will be perfect as Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. She embodies the original queen's ferocity and beauty, with her own edgy style.

Last but not least is Booboo Stewart as Jay, Jafar's son. Jafar is one of the most cunning and evil villains of all time, and we love that Twilight star Booboo was cast to play his kid. Jay actually reminds us of Aladdin, which probably doesn't sit well with his dad!
