Everything We Learned From the “Descendants” Soundtrack
The Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants finally debuted on Friday, and we're already having withdrawals. If you're not already watching the music videos from the movie over and over on repeat, here's why you should be.
"Rotten To the Core"
As one of our favorite opening numbers in recent history, "Rotten To the Core" was just another reminder that being bad doesn't mean you can't look and sound amazing. Plus, the song introduced us to our four anti-heroes and the villainous Isle Of the Lost, which really deserves a movie of its own. We're crossing our fingers, Disney!
"Evil Like Me"
We know Kristen Chenoweth best for being pure perfection as Glinda in Wicked, but her performance as Maleficent has us convinced she would be just as incredible as Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West). She couldn't have been better cast, but of course we would have loved to see even more of her.
"Did I Mention"
This love song is totally R.I.D.I.C.U.L.O.U.S. We would NOT mind if Mitchell Hope interrupted the big game to serenade us with this. Also, we want to learn the rules to this game because it would make P.E. 100% better.
"If Only"
If only Dove Cameron would release "If Only" as a single. Even though we've never been the daughter of an evil queen and used a love spell to trick the most popular boy in school into falling for us, we can relate to the stuff about dealing with weird, confusing feelings.
"Be Our Guest"
"Be Our Guest" is def our favorite song from Beauty and the Beast, so hearing this modern brings up all kinds of nostalgia. Honestly, every Disney musical should be remade this way.
"Set It Off"
We wish our high school dances could be as perfect as this coronation. Prom DJs, take note of "Set It Off" because it'll get every ball off to the perfect start.
