15 Disney Channel Original Movies We Could Watch Over and Over Again
Did you hear the news? There's been major buzz about one of our favorite networks making our wildest dreams come true with a Disney Channel Original Movie marathon over Memorial Day weekend!
The marathon is in celebration of the 100th Disney Channel Original Movie, Adventures In Babysitting (premiering June 24 at 8 p.m.) – which, btw, we are super excited about.
In honor of this momentous occasion, we've picked 15 of our fave Disney Channel Original Movies – new and old – that we are definitely clearing our schedules for!
1. Zenon, Girl of the 21st Century

Why we <3 it: Zedis lapedis, this is such a classic! We personally watch this movie just for the fashion – I mean, c'mon, are you not living for Zenon's bright and bold outifts?

2. Smart House

Why we <3 it: Because we secretly wish we had a smart house of our own, obvi!

3. Princess Protection Program

Why we <3 it: Two of our faves, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, star in this film!

4. The Thirteenth Year

Why we <3 it: We're mildly obsessed with mermaids, and this movie is all about a boy discovering he's a merman. The perfect plot, if you ask us!

5. Bad Hair Day

Why we <3 it: It's an adventure and comedy film that totally keeps us on our toes. We feel for Laura Marano's character, Monica, whose bad hair day and run-in with the law threatens to ruin her senior prom. The struggle is very real.

6. Stuck In The Suburbs

Why we <3 it: This movie never gets old. Brittany Aaron's phone is switched with pop star Jordan Cahill's phone. Can you even imagine?!

7. High School Musical

Why we <3 it: Do we really need to explain? Go, Wildcats!

8. Descendants

Why we <3 it: It has the perfect spin on all of the classic fairy tale Disney movies and an all-star cast! Shout out to Dove Cameron and Cameron Boyce. ?

10. Read It and Weep

Why we <3 it: This movie is pure genius. High schooler Jamie Bartlett creates a fictional character named Isabella who has the power to zap away anyone she doesn't like. Some pretty magical stuff!

11. Lemonade Mouth

Why we <3 it: It's all about empowering us to have a voice and stand for what we believe in. What's not to love about that?!

12. Cloud 9

Why we <3 it: This movie proves that nothing is impossible. Dove Cameron's character, Kayla, takes snowboarding lessons from former snowboarder (and total cutie), Will, and encourages him to go after his dreams.

13. Halloweentown

Why we <3 it: Considering Halloween is one of our fave holidays, and Halloweentown is about a land of supernatural creatures, you can probs see why we are major fans. It's spooky in the best way possible!
When you can watch it: Monday, May 30 at 11:30 a.m.
14. Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie

Why we <3 it: It's basically a longer, more jam-packed episode of the show. We love that we get to see the Russos away from their home and on vacation. ?
When you can watch it: Saturday, May 28 at 6:15 p.m.
15. Cadet Kelly

Why we <3 it: Cadet Kelly shows us what girl power is all about! After being forced to move to military school, Kelly (played by Lizzie McGuire's Hilary Duff) joins the drill team and learns just how to survive and thrive under less-than-perfect circumstances.
When you can watch it: Monday, May 30 at 11:55 p.m.
