5 Disney Classics We Want to See Adapted Into Live Action

Without a doubt, Disney has been keeping us fed with live-action adaptations over the past few years. In the last year alone, we've received Cruella, Pinocchio and Peter Pan & Wendy, and in less than a week, we'll finally have The Little Mermaid.

There are even more movies in the works: Snow White has begun filming, and they've been developing a sequel to Cruella, Lilo & Stitch and Moana featuring the original cast (Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson). But there are still a few more we're excitedly waiting to see announced—keep scrolling to see what we had in mind.

Tangled

Rapunzel has to be one of the most neglected princesses in the Disney universe. Sure, they did the television series, but there hasn't been any more news since it ended in 2020. No sequel, no live-action and Rapunzel is one of the few princesses who don't have rides at the Disney parks in the United States.

Corona is one of the most beautiful kingdoms, and the lantern seen would be astonishing in a live-action adaptation. Also, who isn't curious to see how Rapunzel's long hair would look on a real person?

The Princess and the Frog

Princess Tiana is another princess that we haven't seen a lot of since the release of her film. She's finally receiving justice since Disney began converting Splash Mountain into Tiana's Bayou Adventure and the development of her animated series, Tiana.

We'd love to see how Disney would create Tiana and Prince Naveen's frog form, and who doesn't love all those gorgeous water scenes?

Frozen

There's no arguing that Disney hasn't been pumping out Frozen content consistently since 2013. We already have shorts, a sequel and confirmation that a third movie is in the works, and we also have Elsa-themed rides at Disney World. But you can't tell us it wouldn't be awesome to see Elsa's ice powers in real life!

The Incredibles

Disney has already proved they can make a stellar superhero movie since they've exclusively partnered with Marvel Entertainment, so we already know The Incredibles would be great in a live-action adaptation.

Encanto

It's probably a little too soon for an Encanto live-action adaptation, but the movie was so good we just can't stop craving more. The music is iconic (yes, "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is still one of our most replayed songs after nearly two years), and it would blow our minds to see each of their gifts in a live-action adaptation.
