Watch the Teaser Trailer for Disney’s Live-Action ‘Dumbo’ and Try Not to Tear Up

We're ready for the childhood-classic-remake train to keep on rolling. Disney's first Dumbo teaser trailer is here and it's visually stunning— with an adorable elephant to boot!

The live-action version of the beloved animated movie is due to hit theaters next year, and in the meantime, the studio has given us a peak into the world created by director Tim Burton. The teaser trailer suggests a darker take than the 1941 original, but that's no surprise considering that's pretty much Burton's thing. What we've seen so far is also magnificent, which we'd expect from him, too. The circus, in particular, looks amazing.

If you haven't seen Dumbo before or it has been a while, the film centers on an elephant born with oversized ears. He is teased for them — that's where he gets the nickname Dumbo — until it is revealed that he can fly because of them. The teaser trailer introduces the big-eared elephant, and we can't wait to see more.

Disney's Dumbo comes to theaters in March 2019.
