Sabrina Carpenter + 4 More Must-See Disney Playlist Sessions
Earlier this week, Disney Playlist Sessions shared a video of Girl Meets World star Sabrina Carpenter singing her beautiful new single, "The Middle Of Starting Over." But Sabrina's isn't their only video we adore. We've compiled a list of the 5 unmissableDisney Playlist Sessions every fan should check out.
1. Sabrina Carpenter – "The Middle Of Starting Over"
"The Middle Of Staring Over" is the song that inspired this list. Sabrina's vocals are bright and perfectly pitched, and the song's upbeat tempo is perfect to bob along to. It was performed live on the pier at Disney Cruise Line's private island, Castaway Cay, where Sabrina was backed by a live band and gorgeous sunny skies. If you love the song as much as we do, it's available on Sabrina's Can't Blame A Girl For Trying EP.
2. Laura Marano – "Last Christmas"
Yes, it's a Christmas cover, but Laura Marano's rendition of "Last Christmas" is worth a listen even in the middle of summer. She does a marvelous job taking the well known classic and owning it a bit of her own Laura Marano flair.
3. The Lion King Broadway cast – "Best Day Of My Life" & "Hakuna Matata" mashup
You might not know any of the singers featured in this video, but it won't be long until they win you over. The cast of Broadway's The Lion King teams up to sing American Authors' "Best Day Of My Life," sprinkling in a bit of "Hakuna Matata" for good measure, and it sounds incredible. Just listen!
4. Olivia Holt – "Snowflakes"
Olivia Holt's "Snowflakes" is another holiday song on the list, but it doubles as a pretty little love song that works just as well any other time of the year. The video makes it clear that Olivia has the makings of the next big country star, and we can't wait to see her release even more music just like this.
5. Bea Miller – "Young Blood"
The acoustic version of Bea Miller's "Young Blood" is particularly dazzling, allowing her powerful voice to ring clear against simple instrumentation. The song is sensational and it's really great to hear the song in a different style that's just as good as the original.
