"A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella might seem a little lofty for grounded Taurus, but at its heart, it's a song about dedication and never wavering on your dreams until you can make them a reality, which is what the focused and hardworking sign is all about. Taurus knows that no matter how tough things get, if they stay on task, they'll be able to reach all of their goals.

 

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): 'Part of Your World'

Geminis thrive on being sociable and spending time with the people they care about, and over the last year or so, "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid has been all too relatable for them. Ariel's lament about getting to be anywhere but where she is and experience a new and exciting life with people, perfectly describes a bored Gemini's outlook.

Cancer can be a highly misunderstood sign, known for being moody and closed off, though inside they have complex emotional lives and are some of the kindest and softest people around. Like Mulan singing in "Reflection," they can tend to hide their true feelings because they fear what would happen if they exposed their authentic selves. What many Cancers don't understand is that allowing their reflection to show their true self is simply a matter of letting go of fear and embracing who they truly are.

Leos are known for having the boldest and most theatrical personalities of the zodiac, so it would only make sense that their anthem would be a duet between Aladdin and Jasmine in the form of "A Whole New World." Virgo can have a reputation for being all work and no play, but that isn't necessarily true. They can have fun, too—they just think that actually getting the job done is part of the festivities. That's why "Whistle While You Work" from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is so appropriate for them. Yes, Virgo is always busy, but they love what they do—and they're usually going to get it done happily, and with a smile on their face.

 

Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22): 'When Will My Life Begin'

Libras are known for being great diplomats, friends and having listening ears, but they're less known for being independent and self-starting. "When Will My Life Begin" from Tangled suits them because they can sometimes ask themselves the same question. They'd rather let other people make decisions for them, so it can sometimes feel like their entire lives are up to the whims of others. Like Rapunzel, the sign can take the cue to start thinking for themselves, and really allow the rest of their lives to begin.

 

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): 'Something There'

Scorpio is yet another often misinterpreted sign, and while some might assume that "Something There" from Beauty and the Beast would suit them in the Beast role, we actually think that Belle's perspective is even more appropriate for them. When it comes to making friends, they're one of the pickiest signs, choosing the people they let into their lives based on quality of character rather than anything superficial. They're more likely than anyone to see the goodness in someone that everyone else underestimates and make an effort to help them see their worth.

 

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): 'How Far I'll Go'

Moana perfectly captures the wanderlust and traveler's spirit of Sagittarius, and it makes sense that her song, "How Far I'll Go" reveals the essence of the sign. They're rarely satisfied to stay still in one place for too long, with the desire to feel the wind, sea and sun against their skin as they push themselves farther than they've ever gone. There's no telling how far they'll go once their journey begins.

 

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): 'Almost There'

Capricorn is known for being the hardest worker of the zodiac, and "Almost There" from The Princess and the Frog might as well be their theme song. Tiana's song establishes her as a girl with a dream, and she's always getting closer to making it a reality. Not through hoping and praying, but by making it happen by never giving up and putting 100% into each and every day. Capricorn can relate to having these goals, and this commitment, in their own lives.

 

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): 'Touch the Sky'

Merida doesn't technically sing the inspiring song "Touch the Sky" from Brave, but she's a princess who does things a little differently—and so does Aquarius. This is the sign of independence and marching to the beat of your own drum, just like Merida follows her own dreams, runs off on her own adventures and paves her own path in life, defying her family's expectations in order to forge her own happiness.

 

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): 'Once Upon a Dream'

Pisces is the creative dreamer of the zodiac, and of course their song had to be one with the word "dream" in the title! Aurora's song "Once Upon a Dream" from Sleeping Beauty is about love at first sight, and believing in the messages that come to you in your dreams. Pisces trust their intuition more than any other sign, and their dreams are likely to lead them on the path to success, love, happiness and so much more.
